How long does product last in tin once opened?

We're not sure of the official answer for this, we expect much like storing paint it will vary depending on storage conditions (temperature, how much left in the tins etc.), and can get a bit stickier over time, but from personal experience we can say we've had tins of PC-7 we've re-opened years later and they've still been good to go!

Question 2

Will this product be suitable for repairing a hole and some cracks in upvc fascia board?

Hello, I referred your question to the Chemist at PC and I haven't got as clear an answer for you as I would have hoped for. We do know that PC-7 and PC-11 is suitable for using with rigid PVC and cPVC so the Chemist says "it is likely" that PC-7 and PC-11 will stick to uPVC. However, because uPVC isn't very common in the US it hasn't been tested so we can't be 100%. They do intend to follow up on this question by carrying out testing on uPVC but obviously that isn't very helpful for you at the moment! Question 3

Can I apply with a brush I wish to repair a concrete balustrade which is round.

Hello, I wouldn't think so. PC-7 is a thick and sticky paste epoxy, thicker than peanut butter. Our advice would be to apply it by (gloved) hand. Lubricate the fingers with methylated spirit, which can also be applied onto the PC-7 to assist with smoothing it out. This may increase the cure time a little. 
Placing the container in a warm place, and completing the repair on a warm day will help reduce the viscosity of the PC-7.

Question 4

I've just bought some. It is /so/ thick that the only way to mix it is to 'cut and slice' it - it is almost impossible to work. Is this normal

Hello. PC-7 is a very thick and sticky paste. If you take a look at our user guide (you should see the link on the product page, if not please contact us), you'll find plenty of guidance on the recommended working temperatures, and how to increase the viscosity if necessary. It sounds to me like it may need to be warmer.
If you search on YouTube for 'mix PC-7 epoxy' you'll find videos of the product being mixed and used which should be helpful.
