I live in Turkey where I'm allowed to carry pepper spray for self-defence. Coming to London I wanted some kind of deterrent which can at least put off an attacker or mark them so that they can be identified later. This actually arrived at my mum's house and my curious dad decided to try a squirt. It made a mess of the kitchen and took a lot of cleaning up. So, it definitely works. Personally, in my experience it's best to stay calm and not antagonise the other person, because this spray has no sting I would only use it as a threat with a warning as a last resort, I'd let them think it's pepper spray. This is not a weapon and should not be used as such.

Nice item just as advertised

Did a quick burst test this morning, outside, worked perfectly. I suggest everyone do this, regardless of this or previous reviews, because the last thing you want to find out in case of need, is that it was a dud.

I advise all women to get this into their pocket

Great perfect handy size. I haven't had to use (luckily) so can't comment on how well it works. I work late and walk home so is great to fit in my pocket for on the way home at night. Would recommend as if you do ever have to use it it marks the person for a long time and makes them easier to be identified.

Does what it says on the tin got this for the Mrs had to test it obviously and it works well it’s not going to ‘drop’ anyone but it’ll buy you some vital seconds, for the money it give some peace of mind As the title says I think this stuff should be issued to women and young adults via the government
