Review: some poor reviews are not fair for this - So this for me worked well. Many of the poor reviews stated that the pen was 'dry' and they could not get it to work. It does take some persistence, mine appeared to be dry when I first tried it. I shook it quite a bit, still did not work. Then I simply propped it up with the point downwards, and left it for about 20 minutes. After that it worked perfectly, was an easy and great way to touch up the front sight on my pistol. I expect that I will likely have to prop it up like that each time I use it, I do not find that to be much trouble and is easy to do. If yours doesn't work at first, don't give up on it. Stick it in a cup with point down for a bit.
Review: Takes time to learn, but great paint pen! - I used this product exclusively for painting my tires on my car. I have yet to get all four tires to look the same for reasons I think are only my fault. I attempted using alcohol to clean my tires and noticed dirt came off every single time I cleaned them, which could be up to 15 wipe downs and even let my tires sit with alcohol until it evaporates, and my microfiber towels came up with dirt every single time. Despite, I attempted to apply this paint to my tires. The paint, allowed to dry for 2-3 weeks on my spare tire, washed right off after being cleaned again. The paint also faded on all my other tires but one when driven in rain or after being driven on for a few days. Not sure what i did differently on that tire to make it last for a couple months at great clarity, a pure white color. Just today, I cleaned all my other tires that had the faded paint with Windex, which contains ammonia. After just three wipe downs, all dirt was removed, as shown by the lack of dirt on my towel after the final wipe. I also took the time to put two coats on top of the already faded coats on those tires. I think this will hold up this time. This is the fourth time I've gone back over my tires with this same paint. It takes time to fully learn how to best use paint marker if one has never used one before. The best advice; prime your pen, prime your pen, prime your pen. Prime it every 20 seconds. I do this against the top of the cap. When the dot in the middle of the cap disappears from being filled with paint, you've done enough. It will eventually dry for it to be visible again and do your test again. If it doesn't come out easy or your see felt tip strokes, shake and prime it. Sometimes, no matter how much you do this it will not come out that well. In this case, take out the tip, and switch ends. It will then flow a lot and may even run. Be careful. I will update this when the results come up in a few days, hopefully with pictures. Edit: First two pictures are after applying two additional coats to the already faded coat. Last is the difference between them both.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fine. 2 detractions
*by C***3 on February 17, 2018*

Using these for an odd application. Labeling high temperature (180'F) water lines using this onto heat shrink tubing. Works fine. 2 detractions. Am having to apply white twice for adequate coverage and the applicator will come out. Reinsertion is not a problem. Neither is a deal breaker. Will buy more soon.
