X Blades (PS3)

I have a thing for the dynasty warriors games, I think they are really good fun and laid back. This is no different, it's broken up into small levels, but all the same, the magic and the attacks are really good, the graphics in its anime style are pretty much flawless. This is just a great game to play if you want to just lay back and press some buttons, Don't expect anything too taxing, but then I haven't finished it yet either. My only gripe is it can feel like a slog in some places. But overall I really like it, and it's better than god of war but thats not hard to achieve

can not praise this enough. if you can get past how much the main character ayumi is not wearing then it is really fun to play. its fast action with plenty of enemies coming at you at once and you can use whatever moves or special abilities you wish to get rid of them. along with the music that plays when you are fighting is just awesome to listen to although it is very loud so you might want to adjust the volume in the options menu.

If you like hack and slash games and want something a little simpler than Devil May Cry then this game is probably for you - I enjoyed just hacking through hordes of enemies, but they are completely mindless sometimes managing to attack due to a glitch or bad graphics which can make them almost impossible to beat. It isn't the best, but it's a fun little game for learning the ropes

This is the worst game I ever played on the PS3. The only game that I can say was similarly bad was Anarchy: Rush Hour which according to what I can find online, was developed by Gaijin Entertainment, who also made or helped make this game to. The game is not pleasant to look at, the graphics being close to early PS2 quality. The music is repetitive and grating, easily able to drain the most enthusiastic gamer of any enthusiasm. The story is pretty much non-existent, essentially your a scantily clad girl who tries to steal treasure, even after being warned it could kill her. The enemies are repetitive and they'll attack you in seemingly endless waves, every area and level is practically the same boring shtick. Just rinse and repeat, keep battling those hordes and hordes of seemingly endless monsters. The characters are given little to no development, you never learn anything about the main character Ayumi or why you should care about her story and if she'll live through it. Ultimately this game is a waste of money and I advise avoiding it. Save your money, get a PS2 classic game on the PSN or buy a brand new gam like Max Payne 3.

I have buy this game without knowing almost anything of it and now it is one of my favorite games. A good action & adventure game with an attractive female character, Ayumi. A very good gameplay though repetitive. Do you like Devil May Cry 4 and Heavenly Sword? X-Blades is your next target :)

Not played the game yet, however bought 'new' but although shrink wrapped not in official sony ps3 wrapping, so not convinced this was genuinely new. Three stars for that reason

X-Blades, das ist ein Titel, der wohl hoffentlich nicht die Antwort auf große Action-Adventures ist. Obwohl das Spiel ab 12 Jahren freigegeben ist, rennt man mit einer nur in Unterwäsche bekleideten, blonden Badenixe "Ayumi" durch eigentlich gut aussehende Ruinen und zersäbelt seltsame Viecher, die aus allen Ecken angewuselt kommen. Ja, die sehen wirklich seltsam aus. Grafisch und animationstechnisch ist X-Blades eher unteres Mittelmaß. Bei genauerem Blick auf Preis und Hersteller ist das allerdings keine große Überraschung. Nicht jedes Entwicklerstudio hat das Geld, die Zeit und die Leute um mit den Großen mithalten zu können aber wenigstens Herzblut sollte man hineinstecken. Und genau das fehlt bei X-Blades. Man hat nicht den Eindruck, dass man durch mystische Tempelruinen nach einem Artefakt jagt, sondern eher ein simples "Stage to Stage Movement" abgrast. Sicherlich ist X-Blades kein "Tomb Raider" oder "Uncharted", aber auch irgendwie kein "Devil May Cry" oder vergleichbares. Ja was ist es denn nun? Ganz einfach: X-Blades ist ein Spiel, das wenig kostet und wenig bietet, nämlich nur das einfache, schnelle Einsteigen in das schlecht gemachtes Kloppen und Hauen nebst diverser Spells. die komischerweise Wut statt Mana kosten. Fazit: Eher ein billiger, unterer Mittelklasse Titel für Casual Gamer mit Hang zum Zerstörerischen und Vorlieben für halbnackte Manga-Girls. Grafisch ist die Umgebung okay, die Figuren sind in einem Comicstil dargestellt und bewegen sich unheimlich unecht und verklemmt. Keine Kaufempfehlung für Leute, die ein tolles Adventure oder wenigstens gute Action erwarten.

Lo conseguí a bajo precio y es un juego amable. Aunque es estar todo el rato pegando sablazos a todas las criaturas que se te acercan. Recuerda a juegos de PC de antaño y entretiene si te gusta el estilo.

Le jeu est parfait pour se déconnecter et s'amuser les niveaux autant ressemblant par leurs décors sont totalement différents par de la leurs quêtes. Les niveaux de difficultés sont impressionnant! Première expérience en jeu d'aventure! Les munitions sont changeantes et disponibles fur à mesure donc c'est un jeu évolutif mais pas toujours explicite pour les déroulement de la quête. J'ai du me rendre sur le net pour voir comment passer au niveau supérieur, c'est pour moi le seul bémol
