Best umbrella yet
Best umbrella I have had. Easy to used mechanism and large so you stay dry. I would say it’s not the lightest umbrella I have had but not heavy. I have used it I a light to medium wind and it was very stable with not blowing inside out that other umbrella do, but not used it in heavy wind. Lovely design

Strongest, windproof umbrella on the market!!
I have gone through more umbrellas than tongue can tell and they have always broken with high winds. So I just typed in quality umbrellas and the first one to come up was the Tumella umbrella. The designs are beautiful and the video very impressive, standing up to a 70 mph wind speed in testings. I love the open and close feature button and it's ease of us, being disabled. I bought it on offer, however it is still great value for money at the full price. The grip and weight is first class and you know that you have a quality umbrella in your hand. It fits easily into my backpack and it dries quickly in my wet room after use. Thanks also Tumella for the personal letter and lifetime guarantee included.. It felt very special indeed to open the parcel and read all about your invention 🙏🏻💗💗☔

Not fully windproof, but still a good umbrella.
I ordered this umbrella for my wife, so my wife will do the review. The umbrella has good coverage and is bigger than a normal folding umbrella. It's a bit BULKY when closed and folded up, and a little heavy, but not too heavy, might be a bit of a squeeze to fit into your handbag, but ok. The HANDLE needs to be a bit longer for a better grip, especially when windy and you need to hold on tight to the umbrella. The press button auto-opening and closing is very handy, but be careful when opening it near people because it can open quickly. The RIBS are very flexible and made from flexible fibreglass, which is a must for umbrellas on windy days, and will flex with the strong gusts of wind, reducing the risk of breaking any ribs even if the umbrella ever gets blown inside out.. WINDPROOF. As we all know, wind can be an issue with most umbrellas and is often seen getting blown inside out in gusty winds. To be honest, all umbrellas will get blown inside out, even windproof ones. So dont expect this umbrella to be totally windproof. My experience of using this umbrella on windy days is not too bad. I had mine blown inside out a few times in gusty winds and even light winds. It can flip easily, but dont be put off by buying this umbrella. you just need to learn to control it in windy conditions. I tend to grip the canopy with one hand and the handle with the other hand when you know the wind is going to get under the canopy . I think it's the flexible ribs that save this umbrella from wind damage most of the time, especially when it blows inside out, which can happen. So it's not too bad.

Does the job very well
Had the opportunity to use this about two days after it arrived. Kept me dry whilst waiting for a bus while it was quite blustery without any battle to keep it open. It's certainly a lot stronger than my previous umbrella which had to go in the bin when it became next to useless after being blown inside out one time too many. It's easy to open using the button on the handle. This also puts it down but you do have to push the canopy down quite firmly to collapse it down completely, so worth bearing in mind if you're not as strong as you used to be. Once collapsed it's not as compact as some umbrellas I've had but it's fine for keeping in the bottom of my backpack. It has an overall quality feel to it and I'm sure I'll be using it for years to come. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee which is reassuring. Lovely selection of colours and patterns. On the basis of my experience so far I'd be happy to recommend these umbrellas.

Excellent product, you should definitely buy.
I kept thinking I needed an umbrella for my bag so I didn’t get caught out in the rain. I looked at lots and most were flimsy, even though some were expensive! I looked at this one and straight away, it appealed to me! Read the reviews, which helped me decide but I bought it because it looked good, sounded excellent and was larger than the floppy ones I’d previously owned. When I arrived I wasn’t disappointed. I love it. Yes it’s a little heavier than the flimsy ones, that’s because you can rely on it to do what it’s supposed to do and not break or feel fragile. It looks classy too and different from your average, flimsy brolly. Glad I bought it, I know it will last. The letter that arrived with it, giving the lifetime guarantee, is the extra assurance I made the right choice. If in doubt, buy it - great colours too!

Great little brolly - sturdy but a little big for a compact
Only used once so far, but seems pretty sturdy - the only thing against it is its size when packed up - it is quite large. However, I guess it's hard to be sturdy and much smaller. Compared to the brollies I was looking at in the high street, this seems good value for money and effective for the non stop Devon rain this winter. Takes a bit of getting used to trying to close it, but so far I'm impressed.

Easily the best umbrella I have ever owned.
Ignore all the negative reviews. They don’t know what they are talking about. Tested mine on a trip to Valencia in gail force winds. Obviously the umbrella didn’t upend the laws of physics and stay in an umbrella shape the whole time, NOR SHOULD IT. The point is that even in very strong winds, it doesn’t break. When that wind is directed at the top / overside of the umbrella, it remains robust and when it is directed under it, it goes inside out without breaking. I was thoroughly impressed with the umbrella’s quality. Furthermore, the team go above and beyond for customer care. I misplaced my umbrella while moving house and they replaced it free of charge. A thoroughly decent seller. 10/10.

**9.1/10 Really Excellent Umbrella, Strong + Easy to Use; Far Superior in Almost Every Way!**
Travel umbrellas (the little ones) are NOTORIOUS for being an embarrassing waste of money that humiliates you twice, once when it inevitably breaks & again when you remember you actually spent money on it/them! Obviously, like any sane person, I have a lot of trauma + bias towards small, compact, travel umbrellas... but this one seemed different... I don't have to carry it around like an awkward walking stick or an intimidating samurai sword imitation (either in hand or sheathed on my back between my bag). I, for some sadistic reason, had been torturing myself with 2 run-down umbrellas - without the central 'slits' to wind-proof it... so it's been a total mess really. I used to have a windproof umbrella that was massive, but never thought to search for a compact version(?)… That's when I stumbled across this one, by pure chance (thank-you algorithm), and decided that it's my best chance, as I can't have another canopy-umbrella, it NEEDS to be much smaller, but sturdy. I was certainly surprised by the efficacy of this umbrella; it's an incredible product, it really is!.. It has a lovely open/close mechanism that works both ways! Press to open + extend, press again to close the umbrella (but you need to load the spring again by collapsing/pushing the extended shaft back into itself. Very strong & sturdy, has excellent windproof capabilities. So easy to operate - although it takes a good push to close the shaft (as aforementioned, it's spring-loaded). The ONLY thing that slightly worries me, is that the telescopic shafts is exceptionally well crafted, solid, but there is only one small part that feels vaguely loose, as in the different telescopic segments are all very stable, apart from the very bottom one that the handle is attached to - it has a little bit of 'freedom' (a few millimeters of slight, minimal rotation) and feels like it could develop into something compromising in the distant future, especially compared to the rest of the umbrella... Hopefully this does not jeopardise the integrity of the entire foundation; I mean, it DOES 'feel' structurally sound, but also, the telescopic mechanism seems to be the only 'POSSIBLE' weakness thus far... I will have to use it more before I can definitively comment on that aspect. It has a decent weight to it - like you know it's good quality too. The little generic/standard storage bag (sleeve(?)) that all travel umbrellas come in is not the best - it slides-off somewhat easily and is a pain to continuously put the umbrella into... I just don't use it at all, no need really - also, I'd much prefer to allow the umbrella to dry-out properly anyway, so it's pretty redundant. It has a viable hook & loop ("Velcro") clasp anyway. I strongly recommend this; I will update my review after more use, but as of now, I rate it 4*-stars until I gather more feedback.
