Good unit work as intended. Use it to power boat refrigerator that required 12 or 24 V. There is a warranty void sticker on the unit that you have to remove to access the toggle switch for power input selection between 120 and 240 V.

Tried the model YU-5024 first. (black plastic case, same specs) It was loud when using an inline PWM dimmer. This unit is rock solid.

Works as advertised. Using it for two 16ft LED strips. Mine had a bent corner but that’s purely cosmetic. Not a lot of mounting options (only a few holes on the sides) for which one would have to make some brackets.

My first installation. At first I thought it wasn't working as the LEDs were glowing very faintly. I then realized that I had the positive from one channel (strip) and the negative from the other channel on the same LED strip. Once I made sure that the corresponding positive and negative were connected, my LED strip worked great.

The trouble with many of these type of power supplies is they are difficult to mount to a wood board and they are designed to be installed inside a computer. This unit contains two screw points which can be used to attach. It only has 24v terminals, so I used a step down converter to get 12v for my blinds. The unit is very powerful and in fact was able to overheat my FCOB RGB light strip, also sold by BYG.

This thing is ridiculously loud. Not a problem if you have it in a garage or attic or away from people, but inside the house, itll reeeealy be loud.

Output shows 24v until even a tiny load is applied, then drops to 20v. One load was 40 watts, the other 60. Same problem. This makes lights really dim. Riostat regulator does nothing when load is attached Both units had same problem. I spent so much time diagnosing stuff just to find these are the issue. Lights currently running fine on another 24v5a the transformer off Amazon.

Queria cero riesgos a la hora de conectar hasta 7-10A de leds.. pero quería ver como respondía en vacío.. y a las horas estaba claramente caliente. Me esperaba mejor calidad de esta marca a la que he comprado varias tiras LED de buena calidad

Le seul reproche que je ferai, ce sera sur la dissipation thermique. Il a conduit le constructeur à avoir un boîtier ajouré, donc il faut le placer dans une boîte pour le protéger de la poussière. Des complications et du volumes. J’aurais préféré un boîtier métallique avec un radiateur…. Ou une électronique plus sobre.

Bought this to power some LED lights. As in the picture the connection points are covered by a flimsy plastic cover on top but nothing at the front. As such I would think that this leaves the terminals too open to interference from outside sources (children, pets or even household debris) with a potential for fires or electrocution. I feel it is designed to be enclosed in a cabinet (eg computer) where it is safe. I’m not prepared to risk the consequences so have returned it. Can’t comment on the effectiveness of the product as I haven’t tried it. As a bit more information it doesn’t come with any instructions or cables or indeed any kind of paperwork! Made in China though.

Das Netzteil ist an sich nicht schlecht, würde aber eher eins mit Zertifizierung von zum Beispiel MeanWell kaufen, da dieses hier nicht mal TÜV oder CE hat

Wie immer schnelle und zuverlässige Lieferung. Die Qualität ist angemessen und brauchbar. Leider bestehen nur wenige Möglichkeiten für eine Befestigung des Netzteils, hier ist ein wenig Kreativität gefragt, falls eine Fixierung nötig sein sollte. Die Anschlussklemmen sind ausreichend dimensioniert, allerdings nur bedingt Berührungs geschützt. Für die 24V Abgangsklemmen sicherlich kein Problem, aber die 230V Klemmen sollten geschlossen sein. Da ich mir dessen bewusst bin und auch über die technischen Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten verfüge, würde ich den Artikel bei Bedarf wieder kaufen. Bisher habe ich 2 Netzteile mit 120W und 2 Netzteile mit 240W gekauft.
