I bought these JSAUX USB C Data Blockers specifically for a recent trip and they were fantastic. When you're using public charging ports at airports, hotels, or cafes, and you're always a little worried about "juice jacking" which is the risk of someone accessing your phone's data while it's charging. These adapters gave me complete peace of mind. The design is small and simple but it is brilliant. It is a small, foldable adapter that fits right between your charging cable and the public port. It allows power to pass through for a quick charge but physically blocks any data transfer. I felt completely secure using charging stations in busy airports and hotel lobbies, knowing my personal information was safe and my device was only receiving power. I also used it in my rental cars that may not have the proper USB-C port, and worked great. This is an essential accessory for anyone who travels often.

We bought these as gifts for family members this holiday season. They are a good quality, good value for the money. They are easy to use and will help keep their phones safe and protect them from data theft. When you public / free charging stations using one of these to block high jacking of your cell phone data. The internal wiring only allows power to be supplied to your phone and blocks any of the data lines..

They work as expected. No data path, so there is no problem connecting your device in public places.

I am a frequent traveler and have always been wary of public USB chargers - especially those in Hotel Rooms. It would be too easy for the data on your devices to be stolen while it "charges". With these you don't have to work about your data transferring. They only allow for charging - no data transfer. Super simple - just plug these into your charging cable and then plug the other end of these into the charging port - simple.

After observing in the news how easily nefarious actors can compromise common pagers and kill large numbers of people, it makes one aware of how vulnerable our electronics and habits are. I’ve often used airport and other chargers without considering that all my charge cables also handle data, and thus those data lines can possibly provide bad actors access to my phone data if I plug into the “wrong” charger. Crazy world. So bought a set of these blockers for my travel kits, and tested them using a data cable on my laptop, could find no way to access data on the phone while it was in- only charges. Now who knows what sick and/or criminal minds will devise in the future to make civilian life even more traumatic, but hopefully by making sure to keep these between chargers and my data holding devices I’ve at least limited that attack surface much more than I was previously doing. I picked Red color in order to be sure I can find and identify them, and happy there are several of them for this price.
