Scan really smooth

I selected this for a project that I am doing for one of my customers. They are looking for a solution for inventory and utilizing bar codes for inventory management and control. The unit is very well packaged and comes with a user manual that also contains bar codes for programming and resetting the device. I took the scanner out of the box, plugged it into my PC, and could start scanning bar codes right away. I could scan QR Codes, UPC Codes, ISBN Codes, and FBA bar codes. The default config for this device is for the PC to recognize it as a "keyboard" so it requires no special drivers to work - my PC installed a standard USB driver - that is it. I was able to use a handy card that came with it to put it in "automatic mode". This mode will scan a barcode once the scanner detects the barcode under it. I was able to do this successfully with UPC bar codes as well as several QR Codes. This mode would be especially useful in a retail store environment. As far as durability the unit does have a more rugged exterior but not quite as high quality as other, more expensive, industrial-grade scanners, but the unit could easily be used in a warehouse or shipping area where it is going to get tossed around and potentially fall on a warehouse floor. All in all, for the price that this is offered on Amazon it is a great value and was a breeze to install on my PC and was able to scan barcodes within 5 minutes of plugging it in. I recommend this product especially if your use case is in an office or light warehouse environment.

I wanted a device that was "always on" and never turned off. usually i would have it on the docking station - but it only stays on for like 30 minutes and then shuts off. I purchased it for its "always on" feature. I must have mis interpreted the specs.

I tested this extensively with various 1D and 2D barcodes, including several, more obscure formats I created with Zint Barcode Studio. It was able to recognize and read all of them. As it common for this sort of device, you can configure it via scanning barcodes from the manual included with the scanner. I was able to find a PDF version of the manual online, as well. You can configure it to add a CR/LF or Tab after the scan by just scanning a barcode, for example. There is also a barcode to do a factory reset. The USB charging cradle worked fine, once you knew to tip the scanner forward when disconnecting. I didn't run into any issues when testing and using this scanner, it never failed to scan even when the barcode was off-axis or low contrast... For example, it worked flawlessly to scan the barcode on a soda can where the barcode was bare aluminum and the background was light yellow. Recommended.

This scanner is easy to handle and very sturdy. Setting it up and using it, the whole process takes seconds. It comes with a charging cable but without an adapter. I love the quality of the material they use for this product. It seems like I can use it for years at the warehouse. I will update my review later on how it works from distance. The first impression is just good.

Trouver un lecteur QR est facile mais un lecteur QR universel est plus compliqué. Il y a toujours un format non compatible ou sinon on arrive dans une gamme hors de prix. Netum est plutôt performant pour lire les ean / QR et si il bloque, un mail au service technique et ils vous répondent rapidement en français avec le mode d'emploi pour le mettre à jour ( juste scanner une série de codes ean. Pour le moment je ne bloque sur aucun QR/ean. Il fait le job de douchettes vendues à plus de 700€... Par ailleurs, facile à mettre en place ( plug&play!), ergonomique et le lecteur semble assez solide, très rapide et peut être relié à un pc, tablette ou téléphone. En gros du haut de gamme à très bon prix!

Trés versatile, conform en main et facile à configurer.

The instruction manual is in Japanese. There is no other manuals translated in English so I am not able to understand how to set the barcode scanner up for use. The scanner is not detectable in my laptop or iPad through Bluetooth. Please send the instruction manual in English within two days else I would need to send the scanner back and request for a refund.

The NETUM barcode scanner is excellent value for money. It was quick and easy to set up, and connected without any hassle. It scans barcodes accurately and quickly, even on slightly damaged or faded labels, which has made stock management much more efficient. The battery life is impressive, and the wireless range is great, allowing us to move around without being tied to a computer. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and feels well made. Overall, it’s a reliable, user-friendly scanner that has saved us a lot of time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, dependable barcode scanner. We have bought two of these now so we can use one else where in the shop for stock taking and one on the till Edit ordered another one for the shop
