Or do you use them straight from the bottle?** A: It depends on the effect you want. I think they are often used straight from the bottle, but for a watercolor effect they can be diluted. The small pack is a great way to just try them out. A little goes quite a way with these. **Q: Can this be used on silk charmeuse?** A: I have very limited experience with only cotton. These are great dyes and set well in the silk materials if that is your fabric. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great for cotton t shirts *by P***R on 21 September 2021* The colors turned out great, a little less vibrant than the jars but still beautiful. We used these on cotton shirts, sun dried them, then put them in the dryer to set the colors and then washed the next day. Sulfite sulfate sulfur allergy sufferers please note there is something in this paint that causes a reaction.
