Excellent coffee. Work splendidly with my Sage Creaista machine. Produces a thick and rich crema. Very balanced in taste. The blue capsules are also excellent. Very fresh, each box shows production and use by dates. Ordered both the blue and gold caps recently, produced in March 2023 and Jan 2023 repectively, each with a 24 month use by date. Capsules individually wrapped to maintain freshness, aroma and prevent drying out. Received with 24 hours of ordering in excellent condition.

Very strong coffee I would recommend one cup a day only if caffeine affects you but other than that it's very good quality.

Bought for use in a Nespresso, as they are advertised as compatible, they are not. When the machine has finished overflowing with ‘dirty water’, what little actually lands in the cup is predominantly coffee grounds. Save your money and purchase another product. (I bought 200 – 100 blue and 100 gold), I have attempted with around 13/14 pods over the course of today, and each time, the same results. I have swapped back to my usual pods, and they work perfectly fine; the machine is fine, these pods are the problem. Another thing is that each pod is individually wrapped in foil/plastic wrapping, which is not recyclable. I have strayed away from my usual coffee pods, lured by saving a couple of pounds, and it’s not been worth it. 13/14 clean-ups, a couple of photos to upload and typing this out to post has not been time or cost-effective. Complete disaster.

Despite the fact that each pod comes individually wrapped in a gold plastic airbag, prevented it being stored on the rack, this is my favourite coffee. I’ve tried various types and these are a cut above, first you get that blast of fresh coffee aroma when you open the airbag, then you get to taste it and it’s just so velvety smooth with hints of fruit and spice

Coffee tastes good. Cheaper than Nespresso as well. But I didn't realise they're individually packed with plastic. I don't think it's necessary..

Excellent café en dosettes compatibles Nespresso.

Für eine Kaffeekapsel, aussergewöhnlich gut. Die einzeln verpackten Kapseln entfalten ein unfassbar authentisches Kaffeebar Aroma. Wer sich darüber mokiert, dass jede Kapsel in einer eigenen Schutzhülle steckt, sollte für sich das Prinzip der Kapselmaschine mal grundsätzlich in Frage stellen. Auch die in Summe anfallenden Anteile in der Recyclingtonne, in die man diese Hülle wirft. Genauso schwer nachzuvollziehen ist die gerne geübte Kritik, dass die Maschine fast verreckt, weil die Kapseln so wenige Wasserdurchlauf haben. Überraschung, die sind für Espresso, nicht Lungo gedacht. Wer Lungo möchte, der kann sich den Espresso verdünnen (vollkommen legitime Variante) oder andere Kapseln nehmen, die auf Lungo ausgelegt sind. Im Vergleich zu den Nespresso Kapseln, die jede für sich einen tollen Kaffeegeschmack liefern (bin da echt voll der Fan von inzwischen), liefern die Borbonne Gold und Blau einfach verdammt guten Espressogeschmack, der absolut als "frisch von der Bar" durchgeht.

Truly a great cup of espresso from a machine. This coffee makes a really smooth and flavorful cup of espresso. Flavorful chocolate flavor with a sweet aroma and smooth mouth feel. Overall a really nice cup of espresso with a mid level intensity with no bitterness. Nicely priced for a coffee straight from Naples Italy. I also appreciate the individual wrapping and do not mind them being in a plastic pod instead of aluminum. When I'm not using my regular espresso machine, this is my go to "ready to make" pod do to how easy, fast and flavorful it is.
