Perfect Hardware, Terrible Software
The keyboard itself is amazing. Build quality is excellent, the keys themselves are buttery smooth and have a pleasing sound. Mine is attached via USB-C but having the option of Bluetooth and wireless are nice to have. Coming from a full-sized keyboard I was initially worried about going to a compact "96%" layout, but I completely adapted to the smaller layout in ten minutes. The software, however is a real sticking point. I thought other reviews were exaggerating about the awfulness of the Armoury Crate software, but if anything they undersold it. You have to register to access full functionality and even then, the Aura Sync feature is utterly broken, which means you're limited to basic, one layer RGB effects. After around 4 hours of troubleshooting I gave up and switched to third-party RGB software and it works great. At the sale price, this keyboard is a great buy as long as you understand the software to control its lighting does not work.

Tri-Mode is a great addition, Armoury Crate Software is the only CON
Nice and buttery with the Snow Linear switches, this is the best "clunk" I have had on a keyboard. Its is slightly heavy, but that just adds to the premium feel of the keyboard. Typing is great, I love how the keys are sloped and gaming is even better, so responsive, almost too responsive at times, but that's a fair trade for me. The Only bad thing is the Armoury crate software and its extra "gear" add on. Its not the worst software but it is an integrated nightmare at times. For the price, this is a decent value, there may be more value out there, but I have this way up in A tier. Battery lasts a very long time while gaming and every day use.

Excellent Keyboard! Very high quality and attention to detail!
I wanted a keyboard that had BT, RF and wired connectivity, and backlight with long battery life. on paper this keyboard met that criteria. I had a Logitech G515 and was not impressed on first opening. it had a laughable battery life, and you cannot change anything (lights, etc) without logitechs software, and you can't read the keys without the light on! Coming from the logitech, when i opened the package of the Asus ROG Strix Scope II keyboard, my only words were WOW! Packaging was excellent and top notch, the keyboard was firm, keys sounded great and the lighting is amazing! It is also a fully size keyboard (keys) in a 96% footprint! The sound of the keys are muffled but very pleasant and great feel. the function combination of the keys is very easy and the keys are very easy to read. (Even with the LEDs off! lol) You can easily change the colors and functions on this keyboard without the software which is exactly what i was looking for. if you use the software you can do even more! All around this keyboard is fantastic, and it puts the logitech keyboard to shame at about the same price. Too soon to tell on the battery life but on paper it is 1500 hours. (the logitech is 36! lmao) I am very happy I got this keyboard and highly recommend this keyboard if you are considering a wireless option for games or office!

Quality build, Quality Switches, Quality Lighting, Sub-Par Software That Works Well Enough
I have been looking for a way to have clicky switches on a board that would allow me to hot swap any time I felt like I needed a change. After doing extensive research, I settled with this Strix Scope II 96 because it was the only board I could find from Asus with the RX Storm switches. Most variants, even on the new Strix Scope II X, only have the RX Snow switches, which are linear. I couldn't find another keeb with the RX Storm switches than this one. I have to say, though, I am extremely satisfied with the build quality and feel of each click. Each press of the key as I typed felt like I finally had more control over what key I was pressing with the satisfaction of a tactile click. I was pleased to be reminded that it is harder to accidently hit keys on a clicky switch. Linear switches often lead me to accidental keypresses, which bugged me. While I have not attempted one of my longer gaming sessions with this keyboard just yet, I have typed quite a bit, and the experience is very nice indeed. The weight of each key is heavy enough that I have to want to press the key, but not so heavy that I have to try too hard to type. I think my only complaint is Armoury Crate, Asus' software to customize the keyboard and it's lighting (which by the way, the lighting looks beautiful and bright. I'm a fan). AC is a little janky, and I had some weird issues trying to update the wireless capabilities and keyboard it self. After a while, though, I was able to finally update everything in the software and it seems that everything works fine now. AC uses Window's adaptive lighting features in Windows 11 to control the lighting effects on the keyboard. It was a little troublesome at first, but once I got it to work, I'm very satisfied with how easy it is to change up my keyboard's lighting and effects. While Armoury Crate is a little wonky, once I set up everything to my liking, the typing experience was blissful. 5/5

Super clean layout, buttery switches, and crazy battery life
Build quality is sturdy and premium, and I love that it looks sleek without being over the top gamer-y. If you're looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard that delivers on both performance and looks, this oneโs a solid pick. The snow keys I got sound amazing, almost makes me want to type just to hear how satisfying it is. I tried the storm keys as well but I didn't really like the clicky sound that some gamers love, so i kept this one ( though the feel of the storm was still very nice. I paired it with a ROG Keris wireless mouse and I can pair them both to the same Omni Dongle that is included, so its super convenient to only have to worry about one usb port being used on my laptop (though i can easily flip and switch on the back and go fully wired with the provided usb-c when a competitive game calls for it. Also has a Bluetooth mode if you aren't bothered by the slight latency that it inevitably happens with any BT device. At this point I've only ever been impressed by Asus's ROG line and I will be sticking with them for years to come. I cant speak to the longevity of the battery life as I've only been using it for about a week but I can say that a single charge lasts me multiple days of heavy use and I'm sure if it could go for a week or more with less usage and lower rbg brightness. Each of the 5 stars is greatly deserved. I'm sure Ill be using this keyboard for years.

Best keyboard on the market, hands down.
I rarely write any long reviews but this keyboard deserves a standing ovation! Initial Impressions: Upon unboxing the ASUS ROG Strix Scope II Keyboard, I was immediately struck by its sleek design and the quality of materials used. The keyboard feels substantial, and the matte finish combined with the striking RGB backlighting promised a blend of aesthetics and functionality. The setup was straightforward, connecting flawlessly to my gaming rig with minimal effort. Build Quality & Design: The durability of the Strix Scope II is evident from its solid aluminum frame which provides stability and a premium touch. The RGB lighting is brilliantly executed, offering a spectrum of colors that are both vibrant and customizable through an intuitive software interface. Key Performance: The mechanical switches under each key are a highlight, providing that perfect tactile feedback without the loud clicking noise often associated with gaming keyboards. This makes the keyboard suitable for both gaming marathons and quiet night sessions. Wireless Connectivity: The wireless functionality is flawless. You can choose between Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz wireless connection, and Iโve experienced no lag or disconnections during gameplay. Battery Life: Battery endurance is stellar. With extensive daily use, I find myself only needing to charge the keyboard infrequently, which is a significant improvement over other models Iโve used in the past. Extra Features: The inclusion of a Stealth key is ingenious, allowing for instant privacy and focus by hiding all apps and muting audio with a single press. The extended Ctrl key also proves to be extremely useful, enhancing comfort and functionality in games requiring extensive use of control commands. Final Thoughts: This keyboard exceeds expectations in every aspect, from its aesthetic design to its peerless performance. It's a perfect 5 out of 5 stars from me, for transforming my gaming and daily typing into a more delightful experience. Worth every penny!

Strong offering, but still expensive.
I use this for gaming, and typing. Mechanical keyboards in general just feel good in a way mesh keyboards can't. For gaming, I think this form factor is ideal, keeping your mouse close enough that your arms aren't wide apart. For typing, tenkey is necessary for quick access to symbols and special characters. I've never his the arrow keys while entering values or codes, but your mileage my vary. The NX Snow switches are indeed thoccy, but if you're used to mesh or even older mechanical keyboards, the actuation strength is low enough to trigger keypresses while you idle over the keys. You can get used to this, unless you have a condition of the wrist. The switches are also not as distracting as clicky switches, but they're far from silent, if that's what you need. The switches can be replaced, though. The magnetic wrist rest and overall layout are excellent, Delete over Backspace is exactly where it should be, but having no clear gap to judge where backspace is means a touch typist needs to develop some new habits. Connectivity and battery life are impressive, you can practically forget it's wireless, and swapping between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz is quick and painless. Armoury Crate is, fine. Sometimes the Lighting Profile turns purple of the keyboard is on when my PC boots, but nothing deal-breaking. Is it worth 200 bucks? That depends. Keys being replaceable means if you like the form factor, this may be the last keyboard you get, just replacing switches as they go bad. But you can find a lot of these features in a plastic chasis 100 bucks cheaper.

Solid Keyboard with No Shortcomings.
Pretty good keyboard, the switches are tactile and buttery smooth. The keyboard feels heavy and sturdy but durability wise I am concern of the pleather use for the wrist rest but other than that it feels pretty solid. The software they use is also pretty good I say, it allows for a a lot of customization and macros.

More than worth the price!
One of the best keyboards I came across. Very comfortable, high quality and super responsive in wireless mode. Awesome battery and battery management, one 100% charge lets it work for more than a month. Well designed key arrangements and volume roller. Hassle free setup and Good ROG armoury crate features.

Saludos.

Awesome keyboard, only one personal downside
Well built, compact, individual RGB per key, really handy scroll for volume and other shortcuts. Can change all config (device, RGB and shortcut options) without the app. Can even check battery status! Typing is fluid and soft, no click sound, fast actuation. Finally it's nice to have mouse + keyboard wireless with a single USB dongle (requires app for sync). The only downside is that it is difficult for me to get used to this layout since I'm used to full size keyboards, always using that middle cluster with HOME, END, PG DOWN, PG UP.
