Baby Einstein Ocean Explorers Sensory Splash Water Play Mat for Babies 0-36 Months

This toy taught my baby to roll (finally)! We love it and use it every day. I do feel like it's overfilled if you fill it all the way to the max line, so I only do about halfway, but my baby loves it! It's great during summer too because the water feels nice and cool at room temp, so we even lay my son on it on his back to cool off after being outside! So far no leaks or discoloration or weird floaters in it after daily use for a month, and I'm scatter brained so haven't remembered to change the water yet. I have recommended this to every mom in my baby's birthday month group when they're worried about their babies not rolling yet!

My son loves this little mat! It was helpful during tummy time but honestly has gotten the most use when he turned about six months and we could sit him with it- it's a great incentive to sit up and forward and not topple over backwards (I still typically either box him in with pillows or sit with him). Big fun now that he can really slap at it and push on it to move water around. Just remember to change the water out occasionally and use vinegar in there as well, or it will grow mold!

Only 4 stars because this thing takes soooo much water to fill! Plus the foam things dont really move. Good for older babies that can sit by themselves. Super cute though.

The Baby Einstein Octopus Water Play Mat has been a huge hit in our house! Our 4-month-old daughter absolutely loves it — it keeps her engaged, entertained, and fascinated with the floating toys and colorful design. The quality of the mat is excellent. The material feels thick and durable, and it held up really well even with lots of excited little kicks and tugs. The size was actually larger than we expected, giving plenty of space for tummy time and play without feeling cramped. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough to stay in place during use. Setup was super easy — just add water and it’s ready to go in minutes. One feature we really appreciate is how easy it is to drain and store when not in use. It folds up neatly and doesn’t take much space at all. We added a small amount of vinegar to the water, as recommended, to help prevent mold or buildup, and so far it’s been working great. Overall, this is a fantastic product, and we’re planning to buy more as gifts for friends with little ones. Baby Einstein has always been a trusted brand for us, and this play mat continues that streak — great quality, thoughtful design, and a lot of fun packed into one simple toy. Highly recommend!

It's overall not that bad but I do have a few issues with it. (1 It's hard to assemble. Trying to inflate it without a pump took me 45 minutes and it isn't even that much to inflate, the hole is just small so you REALLY have to blow hard. The plug for the water portion of the play mat is VERY stiff and extremely hard to push inside of the mat. I sprained my fingers trying to push it in, maybe if you had somebody to help you it might go better? idk. (2 It's HEAVY even with less water than recommended. I could barely lift this thing. (3 It doesn't really....do much. The foam cut outs don't really move that much so it kinda gets boring after a few minutes. (4 PUT LESS WATER THAN RECOMMENDED! It says fill to the line but it is much more fun if it isn't as full. It splashes around more and the cutouts move better. (5 It was quite expensive for a baby toy tbh. It was almost 35$ after taxes. Now for the pros: It's good quality! I don't see any holes or sign of breakage. It's very durable! It has nice bright colors and illustrations!! It's very cute and fun to look at. The material is strong and will probably hold up for a while. Overall it's fun and new so I like it. Easy to clean as well.

Not too big. Not too small. Bought it when my baby was 3 months. She immediately hooked into it. She uses as a teether too 😂

This was a gift for a baby shower and the baby is now three months and started to use this. Mum has given feedback that her little girl loved doing tummy time on this and spent ages engaged!

I brought one of these and it deflated within seconds . I re ordered another and after one night these also deflated
