Broken plastic cover
Part came broken. Had to use the plastic piece from the old latch. Seems working ok. Will update later after a few days of use

Defective part
After installing this made in China part the door hatch locking mechanism would not properly close thereby allowing the door to open. Sent part back for return and refund and seller declined to issue refund stating part was not theirs. Buyers beware of this seller! I’ve since ordered and installed an OEM (non-China) door latch mechanism and now the door functions properly again. Don’t waste your money with this seller.
