I absolutely hate to buy shoes online because I often require a wide size and absolutely hate the hassle of returning things via mail. Thankfully, there were wide sizes offered in this style. As I was searching for rain boots I really didn't intend to purchase something at this price point, but I was willing to spend more for something that looked this good. I wanted something simple and inexpensive. Most rain boots, it seems, double as snow or winter boots and I didn't want that extra, heavy bulk. I wanted something I could use in New York City and Tampa, FL without making my feet sweat in the summer. I needed protection from the large puddles of dirty water that builds up at every intersection in NYC. I do a lot of walking so a lightweight, comfortable boot was a must. This is it. Rockport is a quality brand and they hit a home run with this.
