This is your NEXT Buy!
The TOMLOV DM602 Flex is amazing. From the screen resolution making what youโre looking at crystal clear, to the mobility of the Flexible Arm. This is a VERY well put together product. I am a TikTokโer and I personally search through bank rolls of coins for errors and varieties! So having a scope that is reliable is a must, and TOMLOV proves that time and time again. Now about the scope I love this Flexible Arm design because it has you and me in mind. I donโt have a clutter free desk, my workspace is the exact opposite. So being able to move the scope around where I need it is amazing. TOMLOV certainly created this with the user in mind. I started with the DM9, so this is quite the upgrade. The adjustability options are amazing. Youโre given a remote so you never have to press a button on the actual scope. The menu is full of options and I think the modes I find useful are the color options. You can look at images in Black and White, Sepia, and Negative which for looking at coins is HUGE. Seeing a coin in negative brings a whole new prospective to what may have been shadows but now is made clear using the negative. The new ring light with 144 LEDโs is.. GREAT! It puts the previous light sources being the 10 LED lights to shame. Also the ease of access with the ring light is great, a smooth knob right on the front vs a small dial on the back of the scope. We have not even covered the best part. This scope has THREE different lenses you can use. Lenses A, L and D. A offers 2x-700x, Lens L is 60x-200x, and the Lens D offers a astounding 1000x-2000x. So literally to infinity and beyond! So no matter what your needs are, whether itโs looking at coins, Soldering boards or looking at specimen slides, you have a lens for any and all of those things. After so many nice and great things to say about this scope thereโs always some bad. Which Iโm not afraid to talk about! So far working with this scope, Iโve really only had one complaint. Now this complaint could be fixed myself and I can tell you why. This is the Flex Model so it has the Flexible Arm vs the Stand Base. The arm is great, but.. If whatever youโre mounting this Arm to is not sturdy, your image on the screen will always be shakey. But thatโs not TOMLOVโs fault, thatโs my desk and having it on carpet. So I would suggest if youโre getting the Flex version of this scope you really make sure your desk is as stable as possible. Alternatively I canโt make my desk stable so what I have done is got a side table next to my desk and mounted it there. The side table is never touched so there is no movement coming from it so that solves the problem right away. Thatโs it, thatโs a pretty small โConโsโ section right? Like I said, this is the scope to have and TOMLOV is the brand you should trust. Not only are they constantly striving to make better and better products. They also have the best customer service by ANY company I have shopped through before. The DM602 is still pretty new and they created instructional videos to help me solve some minor problems I was having (Firmware Update). But I had no clue how that was to be done, and within minutes they sent me the file AND a video of how to do it. Donโt be wait. Thereโs no need to look any further. Thank you TOMLOV for everything and keeping your consumers in mind.

Overall good but with a few minor issues.
This unit is much higher quality than I expected. The instructions were clear, and everything operates well. I have 3 small criticisms though. I wish the microscope itself mounted a bit more securely into the mount. Not a big deal if you are careful with it though. Second of all, who in their right mind would engineer this thing to not have a master off power switch? If you have your bench running off of a power strip, you don't necessarily want the microscope to come on every time you turn the power strip on. There should be a manual switch that shuts the device off instead of a soft switch that I have to shut off every time I turn master power on to the bench. I used a USB inline switch to cure that problem. Not a big deal but it was something else I had to purchase to make it do what it should have done out of the box. Lastly, the Illuminator that mounts below the microscope has a different length power cable than the one that powers the microscope itself. It is also a 12 volt unit so cannot be powered out of a USB charger. This makes mounting location critical on your bench which means you might have to compromise on mounting location or be creative with bringing power to a point close by where everything will be able to be mounted at spot so everything functions correctly. A little more foresight by the engineers could have solved these issues at the factory. Otherwise the functionality of the microscope itself is impeccable and is quite impressive at this price point. These minor criticisms were not a deal-breaker for me and I am overall very pleased with this microscope

Really nice microscope
I really like the quality and the resolution of the screen. While using the microscope there was no point where I felt like the screen or picture quality needed to be better. The screen allows you to make adjustments to the picture so that you can get the best view possible with what you are looking at. The remote is also a really nice to have. I found myself using it quite a bit to either capture a photo or to freeze the picture for closer analysis. The images I'm sharing are of some slides that came with the unit and I think they do a good job of showcasing how well it works. The adjustable works well and is very simple to setup. The unit also comes with a light that can be attached near the lens and is very useful when using the microscope for tasks that are hands-on. All in all, I only have good things to say about it. I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic product for electronics soldering, assembly and inspection
This is a fantastic product!!! I design and build micro FPV drones for professional use . The process of building is tedious and detailed. Every solder connection must be perfect, components on electronics are SMT and the quality of the build must be exceptional for performance and safety purposes. For years I did this with magnifying glasses / goggles. It was cumbersome switching between glasses and goggles and never felt easy or comfortable. Since purchasing this microscope, the process is so much easier. I can use it to solder delicate wires, check the quality of connections and easily inspect critical electronics. Features that are most useful: The video quality is very high- the optics are clear and it's easy with a one button push to capture still images or video to review later or share. (see the attached video for reference) The arm makes it convenient to move the microscope away from the work area- this is important when I need to assemble mechanical components or have multiple builds on the bench The ring light is really bright, even if I'm not using the screen, I use it for other types of assembly. In addition, the extra lenses have really high magnification. I have a hot air rework station and have never put it to full use replacing IC's/ parts on PCB's, but having this give me the confidence to take on repairs I would have previously never attempted. Overall, I am impressed. I wish I would have purchased this unit sooner.

OK for the price they want, but with caveats
I had high hopes for this digital microscope, and for the most part, it is a decent scope for the price they want for it, currently around $225 as of December 2025. However, there are a few things that they could improve. First of all, the light ring doesn't stay on the lens very well, it sometimes slips off if you bump it as you reach past it to use the focus. There needs to be a more secure way that it attaches rather than the three screws you turn to tighten it. With the A lens, I was able to magnify up to about 160X with a good clear picture, which is pretty good for a scope at this price point. The lens for slides works well, and I can get even more magnification with that, but it only works well with the slide box they provide. I may be able to rig something up so that I can use that lens very close and get more magnification for my flatworms. My main beef is the the flex arm is not solid. The entire screen/lens etc moves and blurs at the slightest vibration. This is especially a problem when you go to focus. If you don't hold the lens with one hand exactly still at the distance you are focusing, you can't! As soon as you let go of the focus the arm will move up or down and you're out of focus. You can go back and forth for a while and finally get super focus when you let go, but it's not easy and takes too much fussing. I'm thinking of making some sort of adjustable stand, maybe an expandable ruler, to put under the arm to steady it in one place once I get the distance I want the lens. Again, this is not an expensive lab flex arm like the ones we had in college that would move, but then stay rock solid once you got it to where you wanted it. In this case, this one is more of a "toy". The picture quality is excellent, and even the videos are not bad. It was relatively easy to set up with the great well written instruction booklet they provide. It you get the model without the flex arm, some of the problems, like the difficulty focusing, would go away. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten that model instead.

Excellent Microscope for Electronics Work
The ability to use different lenses and different levels of magnification on each has been very beneficial. I especially like the increased working distance as compared to my much more expensive Mantis microscope. I am using the flexible arm to provide more flexibility and I am happy with my choice. I would like a more robust flexible arm as this one does bring some vibration / wobbling if I disturb the table it is mounted to. This would not be an issue if you mounted to something more sturdy like a workbench. Overall, and excellent value and Tomlov provides excellent support.

I didn't think I was going to like it but...
It's my first microscope and it's awesome. On the first day I got it I was using it for soldering and zooming into very small electronic components that are the size of a pencil tip to help troubleshoot. Soldering was the main reason I purchase this but the additional "D" len is such a great feature for exploring features of tiny insects and plants in great detail. I even found a parasite on the fruit fly specimen that came with the microscope. Yes it comes with several specimen of insects and plants, normal things that you'll see everyday but under a microscope it's a whole different level. I like using the remote when recording or taking photo, this is because you don't want to touch the screen or you'll lose focus of the object therefore the remote is very handy. It's pricey for most hobbyist but nothing crazy that would break your wallet. I am very pleased and excited to use it more so I bought the 3 year warranty so I can sleep a little better. What I don't like- Not being able to adjust the horizontal position if you're working on a larger PCB like a computer motherboard this microscope will have a harder time. You can remove it from the stand and find a different solution to mount it over your work, but I felt for the price they should at least added this feature. I don't like the clips that screw to the base to hold down your PCB for soldering, it's always getting in the way and it can scratch your electronic so I did not install it. I feel like I might break this so I am gentle with it, also getting the additional warranty help ease that fear since it's only a 1 year warranty by default. You should be careful not to overtighten any screw especially when mounting the scope. Use your fingers, don't use a screw driver.

Great Easy to use Microscope
This is a great product for our home use. There are many lenses that allow for adjusting magnification. Good quality screen as well. It can be a bit unstable so you do need to work with caution. Overall a great product that I would recommend!
