There are times when we need spatulas (and we have a lot) and or measuring cups and have to go raid his toy bin to find them. We bought this set as a gift for him. The set isn't bad and I could see us using them but I have a feeling with the material some would stain easily and that colander would not hold up well. He's not destroyed his and we bought this set because of the price and the colander didn't look unsafe. He's not interested in that but he uses the other bowls to play with.
