I just had to pick up a full water bottle, and the gripper hung on TIGHT to it! No slipping out even though the bottle was heavy! So big heavy things, plus small bottle lids, medicine bottles, pieces of paper, TV remotes... you name it & I've dropped it! HA HA! And I've gotten them all picked up! One cool thing that I didn't notice until I got it in person is the little magnet on the tip of one of the pinchers! You definitely won't go wrong with this! Between having three elderly folks at home (all with different mobility challenges) and some very short family members (hi, it's me!), these are basically part of the family now.
