Afro Leather Eau De Parfum 80ml Alhambra

I have this *and* the scent it is trying to replicate which is Memo African Leather. This version might get certain protected classes’ undies in a knot with its name - the smell is very similar indeed. I would say it’s less complex and although the longevity is almost the same it does not dry down quite the same way. The real thing gives you a pleasant punch in the face hours after you’ve applied it (and the smell is frankly classy) - this is more linear and has a stronger “barnyard” scent. Don’t worry: it doesn’t smell unpleasant but living next door to a farm I can pick up certain hay/countryside smell. If you are used to designer freshies you might be challenged by this, but I adore it. For the price it’s staggering. I parted with over £400 for 200ml of the Memo scent and this in comparison is chump change. I don’t regret getting the real thing but this is an amazing product. In an ideal world get both, but if you are watching your pennies get this.

A great scent if you like and can wear strong leather scents , lasts all day it is a five star fragrance but I believe not everyone will like it or can wear it , if you like Tuscan leather then this will be up your street

This is supposed to be a clone of African Leathe, a niche Fragrance. I have not smelled the original, therefore I cannot compare the two fragrances. However, this Fragrance stands on its own merit. A High quality and attractive glass bottle with a heavy cap, the sprayer is quite good. The fragrance smells great. It’s a mixture of spices and Oud. Contrary to some of the reviews, I found the projection and longevity to be average. Nevertheless, I am pleased with my purchase and for the price I think it’s excellent value for money.

This really is like 'African Leather' by Memo and It will also get strangers stopping you in the street to enquire about your amazing fragrance! After trying both of them I found I was using more per application of the Memo, than this, for the same effect. Otherwise I really can't tell them apart. Really! Even the Alhambra's bottle is nicer - it really comes down to do you want the box (Memo outright wins here) or the toffee! I'm back to buy more toffee and update this review to 5*.

It’s a clone of MEMO PARIS’ African Leather perfume, it’s for the price I would choose this all day long. Great scent, long lasting - I’m getting 4-6 hours on skin and a lot longer on clothes. Sillage is good, with a scent bubble that projects around 4 feet from me. This is the most wearable, non offensive leather scent I have ever tried. And I love it.
