Ok, first impressions and thought. First off before I forget-the Ronson Butane Fuel canister’s nozzle fit the lighter tank port perfectly. Some butane fuel nozzles are metal, not good and they may contain a few sizes of extra nozzle and they may work, but no different thingies needed if you use Ronson. Other brands might fit, but this one does.So no issue at all filling the lighter “tank” up. And then, the lighter worked perfectly. Of course, not the dramatic torch flame seen on the pictures (we aren’t welding or brazing here ok?) is nice. Hard to see in the sunlight, but you can hear it in action. The rubberized feeling case and details are nice. I call it a quality product and look forward to using it when needed. I am happy with the purchase.UPDATE: After a few days of playing around with both of them, one lighter wasn’t working…more like sparking without a flame. Disappointment set in, and I was going to see if I could contact the seller. Others have mentioned a similar issue. BUT then I noticed that the lighter’s flame can be adjuster with a screwdriver. Ahaa…I adjusted the flame a bit higher….and now the lighter works fine.

These torch lighters can be confusing at first. I almost returned them. I filled them with butane but when I lit them, they burned a quick second and went out multiple times. After a YouTube search, I learned you have to purge air from the system. They even sell a purging tool. Once I did that, these burned beautifully. The weatherproof case does a good job of keeping the lighter operational in the elements.

Good lighter especially for the price. I noticed alot of people gave a bad review because they were having problems with the flame.Many lighters are sold with the flame adjustment at lowest setting which often won't stay lit when you light it. Simply turn the white plastic arrow to adjust the flame.It's a bit difficult to see because it's the same color as the tank, but in the picture, I marked it with a Sharpie to show where it is.I suggest the manufacturer make the plastic arrow a different color and address this step specifically in their photo layout to avoid confusion.edit : half to drop it to 1 star, because it just stop lighting in spite of purging, adjusting flame level.I tried everything and it won't work. I've never had this much problem with a torch lighter before.Maybe with better quality control they can make it a good option, but now it's a big disappointment. it's getting returned.

I love this little lighter. I've used it thousands of times in the last 6 months. It lights every time and the butane lasts a couple of weeks of continuous use.I only gave it 4 stars because the latch for the lid wears down and the spring broke after about 5 months.I'd buy it regardless

Maybe I got lucky but they both hold fluid really good nice adjustable flame good quality and got a surprise whistle worth the money

After 8 months the spring on the lid broke. After a year the igniter is failing, take 2 or 3 presses to get the igniter to spark.

I've bought several different types ranging from lighter fluid to butane and now this is a great lighter for those who don't want to carry flammable substances on their person. Good price point. I'd buy from this seller again.

One of the anodes was much smaller than the other and is rapidly eroding. Soon it will cease to function.

Casi dejo una muy mala reseña, después de llenarlos y esperar casi 2 dias para usarlos, no podía prenderlos, no son malos, pero no puedes utilizarlos a su mayor capacidad de potencia porque sale tan fuerte el gas que se apaga a sí mismo, después de hacer varios intentos y casi tirarlos a la basura, encontré que la potencia debe ser a la mitad y un poco menos, la flama no es muy potente pero cumple su objetivo, aun le batallo con uno de los dos, el otro ha trabajado bien y prende al segundo o tercer intento, el otro hay veces que no prende, por eso dejo 3 estrellas porque me han medio servido....N.P.I.
