Do i buy an eight foot padding?** A: Yes the 8 foot padding is right for the 8 foot trampoline. Measure the outside of the trampoline across its widest point if its 8 foot then that is the size to order. The padding will cover the springs leaving the actual rubber trampoline part fully exposed. **Q: How many springs?** A: I haven’t counted the springs but that isn’t relevant for the protection pad. It’s the diameter measurement that counts for which size protection pad you need. If your trampoline has a 10 ft diameter this pad will fit to perfection, as it did on mine. If your trampoline has a 6ft, 8ft or 12 ft diameter then there is a protection pad to fit the specific size. Had our sportspower trampoline for 5 years now and it well used by my 4 kids! The matt was ripped and had become unsafe and since the frame was still in good condition I just thought I'd replace the mat.I'd looked around for a good while before settling on this one. Glad I did as its even better quality than the original! The material is alot thicker and there are 3x as many ties so the matt doesn't move at all. The colour is more garden friendly green as the previous was orange.I got the 8ft cover and it fits lovely, nit exactly as the poles for the netting are in the way but its not an issue really. Doesn't affect the safety of the trampoline, I don't want to cut holes into it as it would affect the integrity of the padding. I'm happy with how it looks and I'm very happy with this considering the reasonable price.Do check the size of the trampoline but I would imagine this would fit most styles like my one.
