Quilling Art

This is a gorgeous book, with lovely photography, easy to read fonts and super clear instructions. I just started quilling, and already feel like this book has helped me grasp all the basics in very little time. The photography stunningly showcases each project in a way that makes me excited to try them all. Even as I advance into a more skilled quiller, I imagine this book will be a good reference to come back to, because it’s just so easy to use, and a joy to look at.

BEST INSTRUCTIONAL BOOK AVAILABLE!!! Most other books are either mostly words, in black and white or are only pictures of the finished work without instruction. This book finally has done it right!!! Thank you, love it!!!

Beautifully presented, great projects and easy to follow instructions. Very inspiring!!

I just started quilling and I think that the designs in this book are do-able and pretty. She has a very nice use of color and her instructions are extremely clear. There are pictures for each step so you are never wondering how she got from Step 1 to Step 2. Her style is a little more cutsie than I generally like for art projects, but I bought this book more for the concepts than anything else. Great starter book. Lovely work.

Pictures and designs are gorgeous and I am positive that I can make these. Love the step by step instructions and templates so you know exactly what size everything should be.

So I got this book based on reviews and was VERY pleased! It has easy to folly STEP BY STEP pictures AND design templates in black and white form so you can copy them and enlarge if you want a bigger version/challenge. Love the designs they offer and the different quilling styles!

It is a good reference book to learn the art of quilling.

The pics that describe how to make the different shapes are helpful. Most of the patterns are interesting. However, pay no attention to the lengths of paper it says you'll need as listed under "materials" at the beginning of each pattern plan. Seems to have no correlation to what you'll, actually, need to finish any given pattern. And, it is obvious from the pics of the finished patterns, that certain elements require shorter lengths of paper, than do others. But, as you follow along the pattern plan, there are no lengths noted for any given element. So, it's a guessing game. As a beginner, not easy to figure out w/o a lot of trial and error. Would have been more helpful to have suggested lengths incorporated into the instructions for ALL of the elements of pattern.
