Tomorrow's Promise: A Novel – An Unforgettable Historical Romance of Sacrifice and Second Chances

It’s been years since I first read this book and I still love it. Loved the instant chemistry between Dax and Keely. I actually cried pretty hard for them and even had some happy tears in their happy ever after. Loved feeling so emotional and I highly recommend this book.

This was my first Sandra Brown romance. It was written very tastefully, and I enjoyed it very much. I loved all of the twists and turns. I have read other books of hers and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. I’ll continue reading books by Sandra Brown, a fellow Texan!

This author is one of my favorites for decades! Here Keely Preston is confronting a dilemma ... meeting handsome Congressman Dax Devereaux. Sparks fly when they first meet. However, she is in Washington D.C. to speak on a committee to support the families of soldiers missing in action (MIA). One of these soldiers is her husband who has been missing for 12 years. Is he going to be her past love? Can she really move on to living a life with another man? Or... does she not give up but stays loyal to her husband? Again, Sandra Brown does not disappoint her readers. Great story.

I have read about 20 books by Sandra Brown. This was a good book - a sweet romance -, yet it kept repeating scenes over and over. It was very predictable. Of course, I realize now that it was among some of her first writings. I started with the last and have worked my way backwards.

Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors. Tomorrow's Promise is full of conflicting emotions, believable suspense, and love, at its most trying and its most wonderful.

To all the loving families who have lost or waiting to find their love one my heart goes out to them. I found the book just annoyed me and was determined to finish it...well I had paid the money....dithering is the word. The book started off great. About on third the way though I started to think "Oh cripes get on with it"

コミックで読んで、原作が読みたくなり購入。 コミックもよく描けていると思いましたが、当然ながら原作はもっとふたりの心の機微・描写が美しく、哀しく、映画を見るように引き込まれました。 ここまでくると、中古本のきれいさがどうとか、全く気にならなくなります。 実際に、日本だけでなく世界中で、いまも困難な問題があるんだと連想させられました。
