awesome fun challenging project. my son loved the journey to build the physical car using the kit first, and then we started on the code implementation on the bbc micro bit to make the car work. good time spent in the process. and yes a lot of new learning (micro python and makecode - similar to scratch). the keyestudio customer support team (over email) was very helpful, as we had to reach out to them for some small clarifications, while we were building the robot car. they were very helpful and really appreciate their support. I am sure they will enhance the robot car kit more in time to come. overall, we loved it !!!!

I got this to play with my 7 year old daughter. It was a great joint project. Robust and easy to use, we have had a great time learning the basics of coding with the Microbit. It was great that one was included. The tutorials are great and very clear. Hopefully, she will be enjoying her coding well into the future!

Expensive and some of the required screws and nuts were missing or the wrong size. Unfortunately we can’t assemble until I source the screws and juts which are tiny. Very disappointing for my son.

Purchased as a gift for my grandson. It looks very good once built, however two parts were faulty on arrival - the LEDs on the board, and the ultrasonic sensor. Given that the sensor is quite important for most of the programs that run the model, this effectively makes the whole thing half as effective as what it’s supposed to be. Needless to say my grandson was very disappointed, and ultimately was left with very expensive remote control car with next to no smart functions. Sadly I would not recommend this kit.
