It’s a great handle, nice ergonomic grip, adjustable and solid piece of metal!

I needed two side handles and this set comes with two for the price of one, so I gave them a shot. They feel great in the hand. I have a mirrorless camera, gage, matte box, top handle, microphone and an ssd all mounted and I have these Nitze handles on the side. I don't know if the handles are secure enough for a bigger rig, but they feel very secure when screwed down. Other handles have more mounting points and hot shoes, which these do not have, but the Nitze handles have superior ergonomics and are super comfortable in the hand. One other thing to note, in the pictures of the handle they show Nitze logos on the side, and they logos were included, but they were falling off when they came. I peeled them off very easily, but this was a bonus for me, as I don't like a ton of logos on every component. I would have peeled them off, painted or gaffe taped over them like I do for the other components on my rig. Recommended!

Great design! Only wish they came in 3/8 so we could buy more of them. Really liking a lot of the new stuff from Nitze, never really heard of them before.

To start, I think this was the only side handle I could easily find that had retractable locating pins, and was natively 1/4-20 rather than 3/8. It was usually one or the other, if not, neither of those, I know it might be a bit odd for requirements, but for the rigs that I was going to use it too, I needed the locating pins to be retractable. Onto the handles themselves, very straight forward to install, and way more comfortable than I thought they would be. I'm used to the regular side handles where they are straight, the way that these are curved are almost the exact way I would naturally grip something like this. I see these as an essential part of basically any run and gun kit I own!

I have attached these to the cages of my Nikon Z6 cameras. I have used them during simple video gigs and I have also used them while skating downhill. Needless to say, I trust this product to do its job. The handles are ergonomic and I appreciate the fact that I can adjust the angle. I find these are amazing when paired with a monopod that has a quick release. You can use the handles to pan the camera while on the 'pod. 10/10 would buy again, wish I knew about these sooner.

I have nitz cage for my osee G7 and it's the thread's for this Handle are on top not on side where they should be the side one are not 3/4 screw but 3/8 so weird Now I need to buy different bolt's

Compré la empuñadura para intentar adaptarla a una jaula que utilizo con la cámara de video. Y se adapta perfectamente a mi modelo, lo cual facilita el movimiento de la cámara y permite igualmente acceder al botón de encendido de la cámara. Se pueden conectar a jaulas con orificio de ubicación de 1/4" o con 1/4" agujero con rosca. Viene con un destornillador para poder extraer las pestañas de localización, ya que, si la jaula no tiene los agujeros para adaptarla, no se sujetará. Se quitan con facilidad, con los instrumentos incluidos en el pack. Se indica que es adecuado para jaulas de iPad, teléfonos o monitores. Yo la utilizo para la cámara, ya que lo importante es el sistema de conexión a la jaula. Es compatible con muchos modelos. Su tamaño es reducido y ligero (248 g), lo que hace que sea un complemento muy adecuado y resulte mucho más cómodo elevar y mover la cámara, manteniendo la estabilidad. Cada empuñadura se compone de dos piezas, la empuñadura y una pieza de conexión (Arri de ¼ ) que conecta la jaula con la propia empuñadura. Esa pieza de conexión se puede girar 360 grados para situar la empuñadura en el ángulo adecuado para cada toma. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad. La empuñadura tiene revestimiento de goma que parece duradero y consistente, pero agradables al tacto. Aparte de las dos empuñaduras y conectores, en el paquete vienen dos llaves Allen y un destornillador de cabeza plana. En definitiva, un diseño estupendo por su tamaño reducido y ergonómico, con materiales de muy buena calidad y acabados duraderos, compatibles con muchas jaulas, siempre que tengan ¼ de orificio. Facilitan el trabajo y la comodidad al sostener la cámara, aunque se utilicen objetivos pesados. Y sobre todo la posibilidad de girar la empuñadura para ponerla en la posición mejor para la toma lo convierten en un accesorio estupendo. Muy recomendable. Le doy 5 estrellas.
