They are engaging, quick paced and have great illustrations that have totally hooked my son into reading. Each night he begs to read these books before sleep when before it was a struggle to get him to WANT to read. We are on number 3 and they've each been amazing. It's the perfect blend of adventure & daring for both my kids to be on the edge of their seat. The only con is I have to have enough time to start & finish it in the same sitting because my kids will not wait to hear the end. It's that good.
