I mounted the four strips in my computer case, powered them with a molex connector and voila, worked right away without any issue. The strips themselves are protected by a soft waterproof enclosure with 3M tape on its back, and mounting them in my case was extremely easy.The LEDs are very bright (almost too bright for my taste, but thankfully the brightness can be adjusted with the remote controller when set on static colour) and the colours are very nice.So why 4 stars instead of 5?Here are the cons that took away the fifth star:- You can adjust the brightness of the LEDs only when the strips are set to a static colour. Any other mode (fade, sound sensitive effects) are stuck on max brightness, which is good only in daylight. When I use my computer in the evening in the dark, it's way too bright.- Some of the preset static colours are not good. I don't know if that's a limitation of LEDs in general, but aside from the three main colours (red, blue and green) which are perfect, all the others are meh: white looks like cyan, cyan looks like a slightly lighter blue, orange looks more like green than orange, yellow is also very greenish. The last, purple, is actually quite good.- When you set a mode that cycles through all the colours, it does a great job displaying all the spectrum and it's really frustrating that you cannot stop the cycle at any time when your favourite hue is showing.- You have to aim very precisely with the remote controller, or it won't recognize your input, but that's no big deal for me.So in conclusion:This is a very well built kit. The strips are really good, easy to mount, with long enough individual cables. The remote controller is basic but does it's job. The LEDs are bright and beautiful.Sadly both static and dynamic modes are flawed: some static colours are really bad and cannot be modified, while for the dynamic modes you cannot change the brightness. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Everything nice until blue cam one and on one of the ... *by M***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 October 2017* When I seen the pictures it did look as something with potential. But after just unpacking I have tested to see the colours first. Everything nice until blue cam one and on one of the strips the light was flashing. Did not really care As I use it on red only. Then check the “sound” controller. This is actually a vibration sensor, doesn’t have anything to do with actal sound.
