using for fencing
I got these to use for fencing to break up all the white. There is no padding, but I don't fence competitively so it's not an issue. They stay up pretty well and they are plenty long enough to come to the knee- I'm 5'7" and there is another 2 inches of sock to spare.

Super tight and a mesh like material around toes.
This came right on time. Looked awesome until I started walking around. The toes part has this thinner material- maybe so your feet don't get hot? not sure. But it felt weird at first. I didn't care though. Got use to it right away. I didn't use this for working out- I used it to complete my st. patricks day outfit. This was a hit! Super neon!

soccer socks
Nice foot cushion and support, the calf portion of the sock does stretch to the point that you are able to see the guard underneath quite clearly. A great sock for practice, but does look a little silly if the uniform requires a white sock. Overall elasticity keeps guard secure and prevents the sock from slouching.

Love the air vents on the foot.
They are similar to running socks with extra cushion under the foot and cooling vents on top. My daughter is tall and thin, but thought these were a little tight with shin guards in them. I think I should have looked at the sizing chart a little closer.

Large Calves, these are too small for me
Hi, I'm a guy, with quite large calves, and these socks are too tight for me. I am a size 10 shoe, but these are small for me. I purchased size large which is supposed to be for size 9-13 shoe approx. Also, these are not very stretchy, so it was a very tight squeeze to fit around the legs to put these on.

So-so
These snag on the smallest things, like fingernails.They are not as well made as the "old skool" Adidas soccer socks.Compression is okay.Would not pay more than $9.00 if I see them again.

Son loves them, I don't
I bought these for my 3.5 year old son, who loves everything soccer-related. Unfortunately, the stitching failed in one toe and the soles balled up (sort of like some sweaters) within days of first use. The toe-hole happened before the first washing; the balling-up happened after, I think. FYI, my son's feet are size 9.5T and these socks were a little too big, but still wearable (i.e., he didn't care). Also FYI, I've purchased the Champion Sports Youth Sock Style Soccer Shin Guards and Adidas Field II sock (both from Amazon). The Champion socks have similar downsides as the Copa Zone socks (stitching comes apart quickly and sole balls up). The Field II socks were a gift to a friend's son. They seemed very soft. Perhaps they're better made.

Perfect for 6-8 year old
Hard to find socks that are not too big. These fit great. Good fit for the small feet and still long enough for the shin. Also has good compression to keep shingaurds in place.
