The Monoprice USB 2.0 Type-A Male to Mini-B 5pin Male Cable has surpassed all of my expectations. From the moment I opened the package, it was clear that this cable was designed for durability. Unlike other cables that have a weak and inexpensive feel, this cable is built with a sturdy construction that instills confidence. One of the standout features of this cable is its ideal length, which is a perfect fit for my current setup. It strikes the perfect balance between being not too long or too short, offering just the right amount of flexibility without any unnecessary clutter. The performance of this cable is where it truly excels. I utilize it to establish a seamless connection with my Blue Yeti microphone, ensuring flawless data transfer on every occasion. I purchased this cable x2 for different vehicles' dash cam. Most dash cam 12V cables don't carry high wattage for fast charging so I replace them with 12V multi-ported plugs so I can use the dash cam and use another port for smartphones' quick charging. This cable is reliable and stable. The caveat is its thicker total wire gauge and thus less pliable in bending sharp curves inside the vehicle while running and trying to hide the cable. In fact there are places I couldn't hide the cable unlike the original camera cable because of how thick this is.

I'm pleased with this purchase. This seems to be a high-quality cable at a cheapy-cable price. It's thicker than any other USB cable I've ever used (and I've been using them since USB became a thing), and it has a ferrite core (that little barrel thing near the mini-USB end), the purpose of which is to reduce or eliminate EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference). I've only used this cable to say "check check, testing" into my Blue Yeti a few times so far, but the sound is beautifully clear with no hint of buzz or any other undesirable noise, and for a ten-foot-long USB cable that's snaking amongst a whole lot of other cables including AC cords, that's impressive. I think I'm going to buy a couple more before these cables get "discovered" and possibly go up in price and/or down in quality, as seems the fate of so very many products in our shamelessly (and often unethically) capitalist society. I highly recommend this cable for use with USB microphones (and for any other mini-USB applications).

It's hard to get excited about a USB cable, but it solved a problem that initially proved difficult to diagnose. I had connection issues between my Octoprint installation (running through Ubuntu 24.04) and my Snapmaker A350 3D printer. There were multiple disconnects happening at random times through the printing process. Random disconnects can be annoying, especially when logs don't give insights into why the problems are occurring. Upon researching these random disconnects, I found a post that suggested using a quality cable with a ferrite choke. I found this product at a very reasonable price and it seems to have solved the issues I was having! It also feels very solid and well made.

The cable feels sturdy and the connecter well made. Using this in place of my Yeti Blue Blackout cable that come with the mic since the cable that did come with it was pure trash. But this seem to be working no problem.

I recently purchased a Canon scanner, but it is parked about 8 feet from the computer. The included cable is too short, of course, so I had to add a USB extension cable during initial installation. One issue with the Canon scanner is that it is powered by the USB cable itself; there is no external DC adapter. This cable, being 10 feet long, has now made it possible for me to eliminate the USB extension cable. The scanner is functioning perfectly. Since the cable has the ferrite core, there are no issues related to signal quality. It is a well made quality cable; I'm sure that the famous name retailer sometimes known as the "Amazon Showroom" would try to sell it for at least $15. Although the shipping cost is 2 1/2 times the price of the cable, it is still a $7 solution, and the USB extension cable is once again available to me for the next crisis... The cable was well packed, and I received it in a timely manner.

This USB cable is exactly what I needed! It’s well-built, durable, and provides a fast and stable connection for both charging and data transfer. The length is perfect, long enough to use for a Dashcam.

I picked up this cable to connect some older equipment to my computer and I am very pleased with my purchase. The 10-foot length gave me plenty of room to work with and the ferrite core did a great job of reducing any EMI interference. The cable itself is well made and feels durable. Connectors fit snugly and securely on both ends and the cable is flexible enough to bend as needed without any kinking. I would definitely purchase this product again.
