Greatest Hits โ Rediscovered is a musical timeline of hit singles spanning almost five decades, released in a year that saw Sir Tom Jones celebrate his 70th birthday and bask in the plaudits afforded his album Praise & Blame . โฆRediscovered is a collection of singles running from his first number one "Itโs Not Unusual" back in 1964, the hits from the 60s ("Whatโs New Pussycat", "Thunderball", "Green Green Grass Of Home" and "Delilah"), the likes of "Sheโs A Lady" from the 70s, through to more recent successes that reignited global interest in an artist that to date has over 100 million records worldwide, like the reworked Prince classic "Kiss", the rocking "Mama Told Me Not To Come" or "What God Am I". Review: I am completely satisfied with: Greatest Hits Reciscovered, by Tom Jones - I'm completely satisfied with this album, which features 29 great hits on 2 CDs. It features some superb songs spanning the period from 1966 to 2010. This album is excellent, as are all these other albums. What's more, the sound is excellent. All these songs are very beautiful and most of the album is made up of very rhythmic songs. There are a number of songs that I was either expecting for the first time or had forgotten about, because they're no longer heard on the radio. What a shame! I'm happy to have it in my CD collection. I highly recommend this album. This album was released in 2010 on the Universal Music TV. EU. Enjoy ! Review: Great Compilation - I always associated Tom Jones as a medallion man for middle aged, or pensionable, matrons. However, a few weeks ago I was listening to a Roger Daltrey narrated documentary on Wilson Pickett, and had this epiphany: putting aside the image, Tom Jones is the closest the UK has come to a Wilson Pickett/Solomon Burke. It's the voice, you see, capable of handling blues, rock, funk, and country, which is also like Messrs Burke and Pickett in that respect. I had previously purchased Praise & Blame, an amazing change in direction by Tom Jones, and an amazing album by any artist: it is a rare current album that you can listen to straight through. This compilation has tracks from all time periods of Tom Jones, from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and bang up to date. It is a great compilation of an artist whose image has detracted from his quality.

Good treasure box of Tom Jones hits
The CD arrived quickly. The sound quality could not be faulted. Although this is only a collection of original recordings and not a new re-recording of the hits, that does not diminish their quality and the remastering was superb. One would wish Sir Tom would consider a new recording of them though. It ain't about the money it might make, but that doing that afresh always gives people a new angle to appreciate. Great collection of songs like "I who had nothing", "Delilah", etc. You would hardly realize that he is Welsh.

Superb
I am a massive fan of Tom Jones and have a lot of the original albums but if you are someone that is fairly new to his work and you want an over all picture of what he has done, this is the album for you. The recordings are of excellent quality and mostly studio, in particular a track called "what good am I?" which was recorded fairly recently. It's a favourite of mine because of it's fairly simple yet haunting production that lets Toms voice do all the work and makes you really want to listen closely to the lyrics and in that respect I liken it to that of the Johnny Cash song "Hurt" which has the same feeling about it.

Tom Jones nuff said.
The joy of Sir Tom. Excellent in my book just buy n enjoy a legend. The man has a voice like no other and can still bang out tunes today. Still love his live rendition of "I'll never fall in love again" from some tv show in 1967. Check it out on utube just pure class. Pure live with no auto tune or mimming bull.

Most enjoyable
My teenaged daughter is a big fan of Tom Jones since first seeing him as a judge on The Voice a few years ago. She bought this CD and has played it over and over again the last few weeks. We have played it in the car too and I have to admit it is actually very good. Tom has such a distinctive voice and this C D contains a wide range of old and newer songs and they are all eminently sing-a-long to. Most enjoyable

High Energy from Tom Jones.
Sir Thomas Woodward launched his singing career as Tom Jones evoking the vagabond spirit of Fielding's renegade son hell bent on flaunting decorum. Jones stage act echoed that vagabond spirit, but his rich baritone voice soared up to capture adoring hearts the world over selling over 20 million albums, a phenomenal milestone in the late 1960's and 1970's. He cultivated a hard driving sex driven image following Elvis a decade earlier. This double album covers his career and includes blockbuster songs "Delilah, Thunderball, She's a Lady, It's not unusual," and What's new Pussycat!" and many more energy hits as well as romantic wedding ballads like "Green Green Grass of Home "and "I'm never going to fall...in love again". He competed with legendary Englebert for the pop market, although I believe Englebert is more recognized as a crooner than Jones. This is a very wonderful collection of one of the greatest artists of his era which is a great listening experience bringing back many memories. A must have. Enjoy.
