These instant mashed potatoes taste really good and are super easy to make. They come out creamy and smooth with a nice flavor, especially for how quick they are to prepare. Great as a side when you want something fast and filling.

These potato flakes are very useful. It’s pretty much just dehydrated potatos with nothing else, which makes it easier to add to other recipes and adjust it to your personal diet. They are going to be very bland if you just put water and salt, many dehydrated potatos have that weird taste if you don’t add other things to them. The consistency is easily adjustable, simply add potato powder slowly until you are reaching the consistency you want, if it’s too thick, you can add more liquid. Since these have nothing in them, you can rehydrate with water, dairy, or your favorite stock and jazz them up with your favorite herbs and spices.

These potatoes have a bland taste when directions on the box are followed. I recommend substituting broth (your choice) for the water, I used a 50/50 ratio. This will definitely enhance the flavor. Otherwise these instant potatoes are basic mashed potatoes.

There is not enough room on here to tell you how I use my mashed potatoes. Amazon has some good tasting ones. With the right spices and consistency they can seem like they are fresh, creamed potatoes.
