So worth it
If your looking for a tt02 chassis. This is a killer deal. Fully assembled with aluminum upgrades. You can't beat it. Plus I got orange wheels!

Plastic spur gear??
So the whole body frame is metal but it has flimsy plastic spur gears. This makes no sense. If you buy this upgrade to a metal spur gear or make sure you have plastic pinion gears because metal heats up and metal plastic just am fyi

Spur gear area needs attention.
This item is ok. The area near the spur gear needs to be done. It does not have enough room for the spur gear to spin freely. I had to shave it down a bit to get the spacing right. Other than that it is a ok setup for the money.

Good deal, However
My only complaint is that some fasteners feel over tightened but for the money it's a great deal. If you bought a tt02 and bought all the upgrades separately, It would be much more expensive. EDIT: For a show build it's great, however all that metal is HEAVY, so it handles really poorly. A lot of the joints have slop in them too so if you race it, it kinda slops around the race track. Also, NEVER CRASH IT cause what does aluminum do when it has an impact? it bends, one crash and it will be so bent nothing will ever align the same. Overall just use for show builds or lowriders or something, terrible for racing or actually driving fast at all.

The parts you get for the price is great.
The only issue is that the rear differential has an issue and must be fixed. They asked for pictures but I hate taking apart an RC vehicle without the replacement parts to install. While waiting for the replacement, i forget which screws go where and sometimes i lose screws.

Okay, car arrived, very late, not important. All the parts in Blue are assumed to be correct, not the case. If you try to install a TT02 Upgrade for the spur gear, you will find that the holes to mount the gear to the existing shaft they include, they do not fit. The four screws that you bolt the gear to the shaft, do NOT line up. If you try to get fancy like I did and just install the Tamiya Propeller Shaft/Propeller ends, they do not line up, binding, spacers, headache. CAUTION....ALL the screws that are in this chassis are thread sealed in so you will have a bitch of a time getting them out!!! NEVER USE TREAD SEAL ON HARD PLASTIC!!!!! Overall, Take this car apart totally, make sure that you are careful not to split any of the plastic parts as I have said, they are thread sealed and very hard to get out without doing damage. Some of these parts are compatible and some are this model specific. All in all, I would NOT purchase this car again, I would spend the extra 100-200 to get the Original from Tamiya. No Headaches. Now, as to the company...I think Hobbypower is a fantastic supplier for all our RC needs but.....,they should hire someone too test out their products they sell BEFORE putting their name on it. The gearing setup on the left is the stock 70t setup, the pic on the right is the 68t High Speed Setup. The flange that the WHITE gear bolts up to was made FOR THIS APPLICATION!!! The holes to mount the spur gear DO NOT LINE UP when you try to install the 68t METAL SPUR GEAR....so you have to buy the right spur gear axle from Tamiya. To be honest, this was one of the most headache involved purchases I have had. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR but like the company that shipped it. SPEND THE EXTRA 100 bucks!!!!!! Your going to have to anyways
