Not all that messy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s a slow process but it works *by L***N on February 14, 2026* If you are stripping aluminum columns that are 50 years old then you will need to perform this twice to get the desired results. I also bought the Dumond laminated paper. I tried to use parchment paper and waxed paper but they do not work as well. It is messy work so be prepared to cover everything underneath. I am looking at some alternatives to see if it will go better. Two 10 foot columns cost about $200 in stripper and laminated paper. I believe I will have enough paper to do two more columns. So if I continue to use this product it will be another $150 for the stripper. That’s a lot but I couldn’t get any “pro’s’ interested in the work since it is so labor intensive. One gallon bucket did two coats on a column. Waited 24 hours before removing the paper. Worked about a 3 foot section then covered it.
