Never going back to pads or tampons!
I wanted to try a menstrual disc as I heard they were more economically friendly and a safer alternative to tampons. The concept of this was new to me so I was very nervous about trying it out but wow, what a difference this made for my cycle! There was a slight learning curve to inserting and removing it, but it was much easier than I was initially expecting. I can’t feel this when it’s inserted and it’s super comfortable to wear. I like the spill guard as it prevents self emptying. I only change it two to three times a day which is way better than having to change a tampon every 3-4 hours like I was usually doing. The strap helps make removing it very simple. I didn’t like wearing tampons overnight and I hated sleeping in pads cause I was afraid of leaking, but I can leave this in overnight and sleep peacefully knowing I won’t experience leaks or spills. This disc is amazing and it has greatly improve my period experience. I will never go back to pads or tampons. This was a game changer for me and I highly recommend everyone to try this out. I was skeptical at first but turns out I love it. If you are on the fence about making the switch, I say go for it!

I love it
I wanted to find a product that was reusable to save money in the long run. I had a diva cup many years ago but I stopped using it and I don’t remember why. I bought a second diva cup at the end of 2023 and over 2-3 months of using it I found that it was difficult for me to insert and get to open fully. It for some reason also made my menstrual cramps worse and I felt that it must be the suction even though it’s supposedly “light” suction that keeps it in place. I was freaked out of the cup also because after I took it out I could feel a slight… soreness(?). And on light days it wasn’t very practical for me to use the cup because of the work it took to insert it. Then I started looking for an alternative and discovered the disc and wanted to give it a try. When it arrived I followed the directions of boiling it and when my next cycle started I washed it with the special soap and tried it out. Let me just say that I LOVE IT. I don’t have any issues with leaking. on my heaviest day I empty and rinse it 3 times - morning, midday, and before bed. And actually I would say that I could get away with just morning and night. It doesn’t auto dump at all for me which I like. I do remove it before number 2. And I wash my private areas and cup again before reinserting afterwards. It’s the best menstrual product I have used. I don’t feel it at all. I’m not freaked out about the suction because it’s not suctioning like the cup did. It inserts similar to a tampon and removes similarly too. It’s so easy to insert and remove I can use it easily on light days. I feel that it’s cleaner than using sanitary pads and tampons. (And that is with NO disrespect to anyone who does!!) I can’t explain how much I love this product. I just love it. My one tip would be to relax fully upon removal. I don’t push or bear down when I remove this which is good. When I used the cup I felt I needed to lightly bear down to grip the cup and remove it and I didn’t feel very comfortable with that because of prolapse horror stories. If it helps I’m 31 and do not have children.

Totally awesome!
I actually bought this on Prime Day when it was discounted. Couldn't have come at the most perfect time, because literally the next day, I started. I'm not gonna lie, I've been so nervous to not only test it, but to purchase it. Simply because I've already bought so many reusable menstrual products that weren't so perfect and while I am intrigued to try different ones, it does get a little expensive. This Diva Disc, I've waited months to get it, and didn't sooner because I didn't want to keep throwing money away on my period. But the features were something that I was really interested in. I wanted so badly for the this to be a good one, because I decided, it was gonna be my last. I was giving up because I'm done trying.😤 So in my most detailed review.... Upon receiving it, it was indeed smaller than I expected. But that's okay. That's what I was hoping for. I own 2 other discs: The Hello Disc & the Cora Soft Fit Disc. It's smaller than both. The Hello was almost perfect, except that it was too rigid in the rim, maybe even a bit too firm for me. I was in so much pain after hours of use, I nearly cried. I hurt so bad. And perhaps it was a bit too big/wide, too. I auto-dumped at unexpected times. The Cora Soft, you can see why I got it. Because of the softness. It was excellent in comfort, however, it leaked. Constantly. I would be sitting doing nothing and it would leak!! So unfortunate. I could've stopped buying discs at that point...had it not been for that. Was let down tremendously. So now, I have the long anticipated Diva Disc. I've given this one much thought..now that I'm aware of my body and my needs. My main interests were of the leak-proof shield....to prevent accidental leaks, it's smaller & not as firm. I also like that it doesn't have a "finger-groove/notch", which is something I feel contributes to auto-dumping when you least expect it. I don't like 'em. Now that I've tried it: It's very, very comfortable. The texture is smooth, similar to the Cora Soft. Similar rim, but perhaps a hair firmer. Rest to fold and insert. The basket is a thin, soft membrane. I was a bit awestruck because it's such a cute little thing once you see it in person, and at the same time, kinda intimidating. It's noticeably "different" from the other discs in a lot of ways. I almost felt like it wouldn't work based upon it's design. But now, I can see it looks like it's actually built for your vagina than your basic round, circular discs. I like the grey color. It looks sleek and premium quality. Upon insertion, it was comfortable right off the bat. I was very impressed. Easy to place up over my pubic bone and the size is perfect. I was nervous with it being an "oval" shape, but it doesn't seem to be a problem for me. There's perhaps a little suction or seems, because of how well it conforms to your anatomy, but I could be wrong. It "fits like a glove"...kind of feeling, basically. Snug. Undetectable. The pull tab, is okay. I thought it was going to be bothersome to me, since it protrudes from the rim a little, but surprisingly, it's not noticeable. I do, however, have to tuck it in. It's stayed in place with no protrusion from my body. I do have a high cervix. (38F, No vaginal birth pregnancies). So far....no leaks. Not 100% sure if the leak-proof shield is entirely "leak-proof," because I did happen to auto-dump while on the toilet, but haven't had any leaks while bending down all other times, or at least reduced accidental leakage.... while NOT on the toilet. Which was the #1 reason why I bought this. I do lots of movement at work such as bending, squatting, running around, etc. It's very physical. While I don't mind auto-dumping while on the toilet, I do need the leak-proof shield to help prevent auto-dumping all other times. With that, I will have to update after some time to give a more experienced review. But so far, I think it's helped. When removing, the disc was messy, but not my fingers or hand. It was a decently clean removal. One can expect with a disc that there is going to be some mess. There was some around the disc and over upon the shield where it auto-dumped, but it held back the rest of it so you can gently remove from your body with ease until your ready to dump the disc. I would say the tab was helpful in getting a grip with the disc, as they can become slippery. I felt there was some security with it, although not entirely snug, I pinched and/or grasped using 3 fingers: My thumb, pointer and middle using both the tab and the rim to gently guide it out. Not a painful removal from out the cervix. Also, in my case, I always......ALWAYS start my period at work. On a Friday. During busy times. I don't understand how that happens, but it's been like that for years. It sucks, but this is the one disc I am counting on to suit my needs for those reasons entirely. I need something with ease of insertion and how quickly it can fit on a dime..... emphasis on the "quick." Quick, easy & done. No fumbling, no fighting to tuck the darn thing in. Just into the restroom and back out. This totally worked for me in terms of that. It conformed well to my body and adjusted naturally. I worked for a couple hours, then went out to dinner with my family afterwards. Zero leaks and never felt the disc itself. It's been amazing. I'm very impressed so far with the comfortability as well as ease of use. I was using Saalt soft cups up to this point, for the comfort and reliability factor. Even though I love them, the only reason why I didn't go back permanently to cups and wanted another disc, is because the cups were getting so difficult to open. I don't have time for all that. I'm constantly on the go. Rarely do I have time for myself when I need to be somewhere in a timely fashion. With my busy life, I need a reliable disc where I don't have to fight with it to open or suction or anything like that. I inserted this like a tampon and I went on with my day. So yes, so far, I'm really impressed with the Diva Disc. It's honestly everything I wanted and needed. Far exceeded my expectations even though I did have some doubt. I'm so pleased I made the splurge. I'm confident it will help me where and when I need it the most. On to work, on to the grocery store, on to appointments, etc. etc. etc. It is far less hassle than anything I've tried. I will try to update this review to see how it's going. But as of now, it's been such a breeze and I'm really enjoying it. 🏖️

I wanted to love this disk so much but doesn't work foe me.
I'm a long time disk user. I have had many brands over the years and I definitely have learned not every disk is suitable for everyone so that being said just because this didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. Once in a while I would get lucky and it wouldn't leak at all but that wasn't common for me. It's so soft that it would bend and pop out of place for me. The insertion is very comfortable and easy because of how soft and flexible it is and it's comfortable but non of that matters when it wouldn't stay in place. I noticed my body doesn't do as well with the oval shaped disk as it does rounds ones. The flap that goes over a section of the hole to help prevent spills when using the restroom and removal did the opposite for me. It made it where the blood would sometimes pull on top of the flap so it wouldn't go into the cup and when I would break the seal it would all come pouring out before I expected. I'm sure this product works for a lot of people just unfortunately it's not for me. I'm going to have to stick with round disk that are more firm. If this one doesn't work for you don't give up on disk. It just might not be the one for you and that goes with any disk that you might try. If you can find one that works though they are the best thing ever invented. Less cramps than tampons and cups and less mess than pads. When I use my disk there's days I forget I'm even on my period (though thats not often due to my pcos lol.

Great fit
The disk is an oval shape and fits me well. It has a leak proof protective screen on one of the edges which is very convenient as the disk almost doesn't leak. Also there's a little handle to pull out the disk when needed. The packaging included cute storage pouch. Overall I'm happy with the purchase as the disk fits nicely, I can barely feel it inside at it really holds up lots of fluid. I would prefer the disk to menstrual cups due to a better fit and lesser discomfort. However both products would leak on me and I still have to wear pads as it's never secured. Also I noticed the disk is easier to slip out or get dislocated from a secure spot when doing yoga exercises...maybe it's just me. I would rather wear a tampon during yoga classes.

The innovation we’ve been waiting for
This is innovation! I’ve tried the diva cup and it wasn’t for me (I think I didn’t order the right size). I get a heavy flow and I’m paranoid about leaks, but this diva dish has been incredible! Even on my heaviest days, there are no leaks. It’s straightforward to put in and take out. It’s also more sustainable and affordable than tampons. If you’re thinking about it, trust me - it’s so much better than tampons and pads!

Changed the game.
I have been using a menstrual cup for about 10 years, I am in my mid 30s. I have suffered from really bad cramps all my life, and felt that they were getting worse as I got older. The disc always seemed foreign to me, the shape, its flimsiness, its size, but read that it caused less cramps and that’s really what made me finally want to give the disc a try. I can honestly say it is a game changer, and it is shocking for me to even have come to this realization so late. Like the cup, I was ready to give up when I first used it, thought it was SO messy, ridiculously messy, it was everywhere, splattered everywhere in the toilet I thought, “Wth? How does anyone prefer this? At work? In public settings? Anywhere?” I got this one with the lip seeing as I am a first time user and thought that it would help me understand the concept better and be less afraid of it. I’m glad I got it. After I got over the fact that I don’t have to pull it out to empty and did what other women recommend, bearing down and self emptying. I was SHOCKED. SHOKETH. You don’t have to take it out to empty! Just self empty when you pee, you use one finger to put it back into place as opposed to using several with the cup, your whole hand even. I have used it for 4 cycles now, and it took me about the third to really get the hang of it. And the cherry on top, is that my cramps are SIGNIFICANTLY better, pain went from like a 5 to a 2, which has made me really question my entire menstrual cycle and life experience. If you are a cup user, give it some time, it’s totally different, but better, transitioning from pads/tampons? Give it a shot, have an open mind. I will never go back. I wish I had converted sooner.

Didn’t work for me, keeps slipping out of place
Like the idea of this one, reusable sounded great. But for whatever reason this shape doesn’t work for my body. Blood everywhere, every time I’ve tried it. I’ve tried readjusting and finally concluded it wasn’t me doing it wrong, it’s just this design doesn’t work for me. The oval vs round (rounded more seems to work better for me personally) may have something to do with it or the fact that this is pretty soft in design and slips out of place easier. Not sure, just know I wanted to love it but can’t. Within minutes of inserting if I move at all it slips down and leaks like crazy. For those like myself trying hard to find a better solution for periods, the Flex disposable disc so far has worked out better for me. Still hate that it isn’t reusable but if I try their reusable and it works well next go around I will update this review.
