Does this use an ARCA or RC2 plate mount? Or is there an adaptor?

It has it's own plate mount like that of an Arca but neither of the plates (Arca or Rc2) will fit. You can get an adaptor for them but adds more weight to the G100 and may not be stable because the only way to use the adaptor is to screw it on the G100's own plate.

where can I purchase additional QR plates for this head?

I have a quick release for my ball head on my tripod but I do not have a quick release for the pistol grip. I do not know that there is a quick release for the pistol grip.

Does anyone know where to buy a replacement for the release plate. I can't seem to find one on Amazon or don't know which one would fit.

It fits my tripod very well, my tripod is super stable now. What I did not like is that it was not well packed, it arrived out of its box luckily nothing broke. I recommend it for heavy cameras and lenses.

Great for my slider!

I have a slider that accepts the larger screw size, so this was an extra buy so I can use the plate with the same system as my tripod. Great build for the price and has served me well on many shoots.
