Verbatim Wired Optical USB-C Mini Mouse – Plug & Play Corded Small Travel Mouse – Black 70744

My phone screen is toast! I can barely see things, and touch is completely gone. Bluetooth doesn't work at the startup of a phone, so I needed this USB C mouse to plug in directly. This mouse worked like a charm! It's tiny though, so ergonomics are horrible. But, the price was perfect as a one time use tool to get my old phone all backed up to my new one. Would definitely buy again.

I took it out of the box, attempted to unwind the cord, and it shot out the sides of the holder in a tight, tangled mess. I was unable to extract it any further, or retract what had already been pulled out. I didn't want to damage or break the cord at that point, so I unscrewed the mechanism and removed it from the plastic holder. As a USB-C mouse, it seems to work fine. Albeit it's tiny, but that is exactly what I wanted. I purchased this specifically to take with me on a trip next week, to use with my laptop, so I'm pretty disappointed it's not as 'travel-friendly' as it should be. The 'retract mechanism' should have been solid, with the mouse cord fully enclosed. Having open sides is a huge design flaw, IMO. But, seeing as it's only a ten-dollar item, it's not designed to last, it's designed to be replaced. Often. There's no profit in longevity. Obviously the opinion of other folks will vary, and perhaps I just got a bad one, but I cannot recommend this particular mouse since it does not work as advertised (for me).

I had been using a USB mouse with adapter. This is far superior in performance. I have small hands so the size is not an issue for me, but someone with larger hands might find this annoying to use. That said, it weighs almost nothing and is more responsive and precise than anything I have used. My laptop goes to work with me daily and travels with me. I work on several different web sites that have high security so I need accuracy. I honestly didn't realize that my recent problems were due to the mouse I was using! I am not a gamer, but I doubt that this would be a first choice for that. Another plus is the cost. I don't know how long this will last, but I plan to buy a spare just because I can. I bet my husband pinches it...

Needed a pocket-size mouse to carry to meetings where I need to use my laptop. Lots of cheaper, off-brand versions out there but I wanted to make sure I got a reliable one so I went with Verbatim, a reputable brand that’s been around for ages. Bad choice. The mouse doesn’t connect at all - no light for the optical sensor or anything. Tried their troubleshooting guide, but it must have been written at least a decade ago, and is not applicable to current operating systems. Also tried the link Amazon provides for the Verbatim support website and got the ol’ 404. 100% useless in every way, so now I get the hassle of taking it to the UPS store and standing in line to send it back.

When I tell you I cackled when I opened the box for this!! I obviously didn't look at the size before buying but I'm not mad about it! It does everything I wanted it to. It plugs in easily, no installation needed, retracts well, no batteries needed, and moves easily. It does glide around potentially a little too easily, possibly because it's so light. It fit my 3 year olds hand perfectly but honestly I really like that since I bought this to use with my kids tablets! Honestly I will likely coming back to buy another one for my other kiddo. Fingers crossed the cords hold to to the wear though, I'll have to update if they don't!

Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I asked for a replacement but it also didn't work

Was looking for small, light, durable mouse for laptop. Retractable cord gives it a very small footprint when I carry in pocket for meetings

This mouse is a great if you’re going to traveling and want a small mouse for infrequent use. Or you have really small hands. It works very well. The retractable cord is a nice touch. It’s just really small.

Overall it’s a good buy

I bought this item for my tablet/laptop/phone. It performs brilliantly, P&P connectivity, without the need for an adapter to USB-A. Visually striking, well designed and comfortable in the hand, it's a great product which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Great little travel mouse that sadly died exactly one year later. Cable at point of entry to mouse problem. Sadly no longer available
