For about a month I've had issues with my cat vomiting. And I've been trying to rule out anything before I decide to take them to a vet. First I changed their food to completely stomach sensitive Hills Science cat food, then I got the larger tilting balls that supposedly help them eat their food easier, and lastly I need a water filter to make sure they're water was extra clean as I usually used to keep their water in just a big bowl. I always have issue with that bowl getting covered with dirt,cat litter and at hair making me have to change it everyday This water felt new makes things a lot easier. It took a minute for my cats to get used to it as my kitten legit stoodnthere looking at the water for 2 hours before realizing it was a trick to give her a bath 🤣🤣 Since getting this I noticed that both of my cats drink a lot more water. Mostly cause the water I use is already filtered as well. Filter twice actually. Was a filter under my sink and there's a filter on faucet just to make sure the water is extra clean then it goes to a third filter once I put it in The fountain so the water is super clean. Since I've done all these changes (I also put two air filters in our apartment one near the litter box and one in living room) they aren't vomiting anymore, in those lot of things were involved to stop that One of the things I believe would really help was having able to drink fresh clean water. Now,;Everyone I know it's says to change it every two weeks but after just one week the water was getting low in the filter was getting dirty there's no way I'm going to wait two weeks for this thing to look even nastier. With that said the filters are very affordable at like $13 and with eight of them that's about a month's worth of replacements already and it is well worth the money. Highly recommend you change the filter once a week to prevent any build up. I have not had any problem with it breaking or messing up, Will update if anything else happens. PS. It is very quiet and it actually kind of helps me sleep because it makes it sound like a small waterfall is in my house when I sleep very relaxing 😌

Yaklaşık 5 aydır kullanıyoruz. 7.5 yaşında taze suya aşık bir tekir kedim var. 7.5 yıldır evde duran sabit eşyadan bile ansızın korkabiliyor. Bundan ötürü çeşmeye alışması ~2-3 haftayı buldu. Ilk 3 gün falan korkudan hiç yaklaşamadı. Ödül mamasıyla su haznesine çekip suyu içmesini sağlayınca alışmaya başladı. Kabın giderine de ödül maması koyup bensiz içmesine alıştırdım. Şimdi insan desteği olmadan severek içiyor. Artı yönleri: öncelikle cihaz yatak odasının dibinde ve en ufak bir ses yok, gerçekten şaşırtıcı derecede sessiz. Kedim suya pati atmaya bayıldığı için tüylü su aşağıda kalıyor ve filtrelenip yukardan temiz çıkıyor. İçindeki su bize 2 hafta gidiyor ve özellikle evde olmadığımız zamanlar için çok iyi oluyor. (Elektrik gitmesi durumu için yedek su koyuyoruz.) Daimi su akışı olduğu için, duran suya göre daha serin oluyor, yaz dönemi için iyi olacaktır diye düşünüyorum. Eksi yönleri: Su azaldıkça pompadan su akışı zor oluyor ve su gelmesi kabın dibinde ~1 litre su kalınca duruyor. Yani kabın kullanılabilir hacmi 2 litre civarında. Su israfından hoşlanmayan biri olarak bu durumdan rahatsızım. Suyun dibi pis olduğu için de bitkilere dökmek dışında tekrar kullanım yapamıyorum. Su azalırken çeşme nispeten ses yapıyor ve kedimin buna alışması ayrı bir zaman gerektirdi. Pompa etrafındaki filtrenin işe yaradığını görüyorum ancak karbon filtre gerçekten işe yarıyor mu emin değilim. 2 hafta sonunda da katiyen atmanız gerekiyor yoksa suyu bulandırmaya başlıyor ve suyu kokutuyor. Pompa filtresinin etrafındaki filtre de plastik olduğu için bir süre sonra o da koku yapıyor. Özellikle karbon filtrenin 2 haftada 1 filtre değiştirilmesini ekonomik ve sürdürülebilir bulmuyorum. Yurt dışından geldiği için yıllık 1000-1500 TL gibi bir masrafı olacak demek (zamsız). 2 yıllık filtre ücretiyle yeni çeşme alınabiliyor. Ek olarak su israfı da olduğu için kendi ücretini çıkarmadığını düşünüyorum. Eski delinmiş tshirtleri keserek kendim bir filtreleme denedim. 2 hafta sonunda kumaşta hafif yosun gibi bir oluşum olurken suda bulanıklık veya koku yapmadı. Bu hafta herhangi bir filtre koymadan deniyorum. Ayrıyeten bir kapta kahve filtresini 2 hafta bekletip sonucuna bakacağım. Özetle karbon filtrenin f/p alternatifini arıyorum. Olmasa da olur dediğim yönü: Haznenin camı. Su bitimini ordan takip ederim diyordum ama cama gerek kalmadan pompanın suyu pompalayamamasından anlaşılıyor zaten. + Fişe taktığımızda camda mavi bir ışık yanıyor, kedimin ona da alışması vakit aldı. Ben alırken camlı ve camsız arasında 300 lira fark vardı, son durum nedir bilmiyorum ama daha fazla fark varsa, cam işi oldukça gereksiz. Biraz uzun oldu ama umarım yardımcı olur. Aldığım için pişman değilim. Benim her şeyden korkan kedim alıştıysa diğer kediler de alışır diye düşünüyorum.

Cats need to drink a reasonable amount to prevent kidney issues - especially older cats. If you cat won't drink standing water and prefers a tap and you're on a water meter, you need one of these. Completely silent in operation - ours is on the landing right next to our (always open) bedroom door - we don't hear it at all. Even with your ear very close, you'll only hear a *very* feint woooo sound. Capacity is enormous - about 5 or five pints - but our cats will drink it down to the point where the pump is struggling in about three days. I love the look of this! Much better that cutesy yoothsy kitty cartoon and pink plastic affairs - my partner is convinced I stole this from a dentist or surgery :-) Powered from a cheap small 2.1amp USB charger plug thingy (not supplied) which I like - we don't need any more weird chargers that only work with one device being shipped around the planet and eventually ending up in landfill. Everyone has loads of USB chargers and nowadays - if not, you can get a pack of 4 for £8 from Amazon - supplying your own charger is the future. One minor criticism - the wire from the pump cannot be disconnected close to the fountain - it would make cleaning the thing much easier if I could just unlug the cable and carry the top tray to the bathroom or kitchen for cleaning.

Bellissima fontanella per i miei gatti. Tutta in acciaio INOX, anche se le pareti sono un po sottili (ma vanno bene comunque). La pompa interna è ben fatta, silenziosissima (a fontanella accesa si sente solo il rumore, leggero, dell'acqua che sgorga dal tubo superiore). La pompa è avvitata al beccuccio superiore, può facilmente essere rimossa per eventuale pulizia. La pompa è in garanzia per due anni (speriamo di non averne bisogno). Intorno alla pompa è possibile montare un filtro in spugna nera. Il filtro è alloggiato in uno scomparto apposito, accessibile rimuovendo il coperchio/piano superiore in acciaio della fontanella. La pompa sta girando da qualche settimana, come potete vedere il filtro a carboni attivi sta già diventando scuro, segno del suo buon funzionamento (spero). La fontanella è alimentata da un alimentatore stile caricabatterie telefono, con uscita 5V; direi che la potenza in uscita è minore di 2 Watt, l'alimentatore neppure si scalda. Il cavo di collegamento è lungo, credo superi i 2 metri (anche se non l'ho misurato). I miei gatti si sono subito fiondati sulla fontanella, e la apprezzano. Che altro dire? Ottimo acquisto, sono davvero soddisfatto.
