I bought this item for its quality, not the value for money. I wanted a hub to make sure it works sufficiently. As a photograpber I need to make sure when I transfer images from a SD card the files are transfered as they should be and hyperdrive provide me that sense of assurance compared to other hubs. The sell was really helpful and reached out to me asking if I need help with anything.

The adapter is great quality and connects to my macbook well although its best used when your laptop is sat on a desk and not being moved around. If your connecting USB cables to the adapter i would recommend plugging them in before you attach the adapter to your macbook. Basically its a great adapter, good quality, works well but has a hefty price tag!

Superb item. The only problem was that it was not compatible with the plastic case around my computer. I was able to sort that out by cutting away some of the plastic. I was able to do that but many would not be able to. This should be clear when the item is advertised.

This item is such a massive help. Apple for whatever reason decided to do away with all the sockets we need so much ... HDMI, USB, SD cards, etc on modern laptops. This hub has three main features ... 1) light, easy to attach and unlike previous versions allows you to charge the laptop and still use the Thunderbolt 3 socket so that you can use the 40Gbs connection for hard disks. 2) Gives you that great 4K video and still use the Thunderbolt 3 ports. Finally it is so small and easy to store and the magnetic strip and USB extension cable are strokes of genius. Really, really well made. So impressed three of my friends have now bought one after seeing mine. So well made and even though there are cheaper alternatives they don't stand up against this product.

Was loose and could not fit in well with mac book pro 2018. Bad material and colour off. No where close in service to the price paid.

Looks great and is well made but it really isn't the right solution for so many reasons. The first is it doesn't really attache that week. whenever you pull a cable out the whole thing comes out, which means any drives attached to the hub also disconnect. Its very loose on the connection to the computer and the ports are very tight... seems to be the wrong way round from what you need. Its always working loose as well. Because its not very thick it doesn't touch your desk so you rely on the weird plastic attachment to manage the weight on the two USB c ports. That isn't wide enough over the body of the laptop to make any real difference. Its expensive for what it is and tbh I wish I'd returned it as soon as I tried it. Will be buying the Brydge 16inch vertical hub when it's released I think

Great product, I am now able to use a USB flash drive, External Hard drive and SD Cards all at once for my business. I bought the slate Grey colour so it matches the MacBook and looks sleek, it comes with a little fabric cover so I can keep it in the Laptop case. Exactly as pictured. Great Seller A+

Works really well on my MacBook Pro. No impact on WiFi signal like cheaper ones, and no lag on external monitor. Accepts charge through USB C ports. Great as a dock for WFH. No issues with fitting into laptop.

I had to buy this because my old one did not work on this new MacBook Pro, which was very strange. It goes it with a little click, which was the first nice feature about it. It is solidly built, two usbc ports, both support power delivery and video out @60Hz. I think it's usb 3 not 3.1 as tranfer speed was around 40M/s. Hdmi works nicely, I have two screens connected one 4K via usb-c, one via hdmi. I like it.

J’ai acheté ce produit me permettant d’avoir un grand nombre de port! Il se branche bien, il faut faire attention à la zone autour de l’ordi car je trouve qu’un coup est vite arrivé. En effet, en fonction des personnes ou de l’environnement, je ne suis pas toujours en confiance.

Me encanta este gadchet. Es perfecto, se adapta muy bien y tiene ranuras para todo lo que necesite. Sigue respetando los huecos del USB-C lo que es muy importante porque apple los está poniendo en todos sus productos. Lo volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.

This is by far the best dock that I've used. I have used a lot of docks. Kudos to the Amazon return policy. Those cheap docks are just terrible. They have some issues, either the HDMI glitches, or the devices dont run at the mentioned speeds. I mean if you guys advertise X speed, your dock should give that speed. This dock is true to its description. I have the M1 MBA. Pros: 1. As for the ports all are working. 2. Since this is a 7 in 2 dock, there are no cables dangling. 2. So with the USB 3.0 port, my SATA SSD gave a read speed of 350ish MBPS and a write of 250-280 MBPS. The second USB 3 port gives a bit more speed. I dont know why. I could attach my HDD and my USB wireless mouse and it works perfectly. 3. The HDMI supports my 4k TV at 60hz and but does not support HDR. That's not an issue for me though. 4. There are 2 Type C ports, one is a TB3 one and one is a regular one. The great thing about the ports is that both of them can be used for charging. TB3 supports 100W charging and the other Type C ports supports 60W. Pretty Awesome. Now I can use my TB3 SSD and charge my mac at the same time! THIS IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY I BOUGHT THIS! 5. This has a magnetic cover, so no fit issue for me, plus it somehow protects my metal mac from scratches. 6. It comes with a Type c female to Male cable, so you can use it with your other devices as well like I do for DEX! 7. The SD cards slots work as expected, my SD cards advertised speed is 95MBPS read. I got 85MBPS read and 77MBPS write. As for the microSD, the advertised speed of my card is 48MBPS read, gives 45MBPS read and 35ish write. 8. As for using every port, I did use it and nothing got disconnected. CONS: 1. This isn't a con, but I still wish it supported HDR even though I am fine with it. 2. You cant close your mac screen without disconnecting the doc, this is because of that magnetic cover. So if you want to use you mac in clamshell mode, you have to let go of that magnetic strip. Other than that, there are no issues with them. They give a 12 month replacement, which is good. It is not the 18 months of Anker or 24 of cable creations but still good. Stop buying those cheap docks. I you have a mac, invest in something good. All cheap docks are the same and most of them look the same because they are from the same manufacturer. Its just that they have a different box and a different logo. Trust me I have tried a lot of them So, I would recommend this dock if the cons aren't an issue for you. Cheers.
