A: Lip faces up half a centemeter on the front and back edge

**Q: The description says 1.5v batteries not included. If I dont use a battery will stuff just fall off?**
A: It's just a shelf and does not use batteries.You'll be fine if you use the correct screws to secure it to the 19" rack.
