My daughter has used this knife for a year now and I think this allows for a reasoned review. She was amazed at how sharp it was (I did a dad thing and like an idiot I shaved my arm and I can fully confirm it was razor sharp!) My daughter has small hands and she usually struggled to use other chefs knives because the handles were too large and therefore the knife was out of balance for her purposes. She also has a chronic condition which affects her joints and using large knives caused her pain. She finds this knife fits her hand and is perfectly balanced. She has treated this knife very carefully and stored it correctly and it has remained sharp. When it needs resharpening she will have it done professionally because she loves it so much.

We bought this along with the 6 inch knife for a Christmas present for our son. Price point is pretty good for a knife that appears this well made. First impressions are very good, well packaged in a nice box with a sheath. The Damascus pattern is stunning, although I admit I love Damascus steel. The handle is very nice looking and seems well shaped for a good grip. I can't comment on performance yet as it's a present. But I will update review when I get some feedback from the knife being used.

Excellent knife - sturdy, comfortable to use and so sharp! 6" one failed to come with sheath, but company refunded an amount which covered cost of purchasing a sheath. Great value.

Wanted a new knife for the kitchen, this knife is super sharp and comfortable to hold. Very pleased.would recommend.

Works well. Smaller than I thought, but it was my fault for not reading the size correctly. I give three stars because it chipped on the handle only after 1 month in. We did not overly use the item or place in dishwasher either so unsure of how chip happened.

Beautifull knife. Bit suprised dinged it on a chicken leg though. handle is nice has a nice balanced weight to it

Lively experience opening the new knife , very sharp as my thumb found out when I was drying it, just I slight touch and cut to the bone.care must be taken when cleaning .
