Auto W4 Snow Foam Car Shampoo and Degreaser For Cars, 100% Biodegradable Non-Caustic Pre-Wash Snow Foam Car Wash, 1L

Bought this as i had had my car ceramic coated and needed a non contact wash regime for it to keep the coating in good condition, as with any coating, the less physical contact the better. One thing to note, use as per the bottle, if you mix it neat into the lance bottle, then it will not work properly, get the mix correct and this stuff comes out like shaving foam and sticks to the car very well, takes a good 10 mins and it is still on the car, and after washing, there are still lumps of foam on the driveway. Far more gentle than a TFR, all it does is soak into and slightly loosen the dirt, but with a coated car you do not want anything harsh, this followed by a 2 bucket wash method works very well.

First time using this but have to say it’s really good stuff. Seen a few comments about beading and water not running off on other Gtechniq products, seriously, do people think the rain will dodge their cars after applying? It’s good but not that good!!

Followed all the instructions and can get a reasonable foam but not a really thick coating as maybe I expected. Quality product though and does bring the car up really well so will certainly buy again.

Best snow foam I've used. I found autoglym was a bit corrosive, making small stone chips rust alot and it bleached plastics. No issues like this with gtechnic

I really like this car shampoo. A little goes a long way and I love the fact that it doesn’t leave any streakiness on the car. It rinses off really well. Cleaning power is great and it doesn’t appear to strip any of the existing protection already on the paintwork. It’s now my go-to shampoo.

This snow foam does not produce the most luxurious foam, but it does possess a very powerful degreasing agent which most snowfoams don’t. It does produce a deep clean on the car without stripping any coatings, so I'm not intending to use it for every wash but instead will use it 2 or maybe 3 times during the year, such as after the winter months, to get rid of any collected grime, salt etc . Nothing to say you couldn’t use it for every wash but for most maintenance washes I’ll stick to my Bilt Hamber Autofoam. It does provide something “ extra” and it’s very good at what it does.

Decent enough foam but just doest really shift light grime after not doing many miles and fairly dry summer conditions and a bit of rain. I wouldn't buy again as it's not worth the high price tag

I've used a lot of different snow foams over the years, and this is one of the fairly good ones. I only say "fairly good", because to be honest, I've never found one which particularly astounding. Most don't produce a really thick, clinging foam without using a fair bit more than the advised amount. This Gtechniq W4 is a bit thicker, so likely a bit more concentrated than others, so you do need to use less than other brands, but it does cost a bit more (1l of this might be 2.5l of another brand, but you'll use 2.5+ times as much with some other brands). Gtechniq W4 does a good job of softening baked on insects, mud, grime and bird muck - which is basically what it is for. It isn't a contactless wash, meaning you will still need to do a regular contact wash afterwards (e.g. buckets and a wash mitt), but it does make it that much easier and quicker. The other plus is that it smells pretty nice too!

Ottimo prodotto se si hanno gli strumenti corretti.

Produit qui s'applique bien avec mon nettoyeur haute pression. Je suis content du résultat. Le flacon était très bien emballé.

Die Reinigungsleistung ist wirklich bestens. Das Mischungsverhältnis ist zumindest für die Kränzle Schaumpulle etwas mager. (Das kann aber auch an der Schaumlanze liegen, Vergleiche habe ich nicht).Der Schaum tropft da etwas zu schnell ab. 50% mehr Reiniger und es wird erheblich besser. Selbst mein sehr selten ( halbjährlich) gewaschener, 20 Jahre alter Kangoo glänzte nach einer Wäsche besser als aus der Waschanlage mit Premium-Programm. Grobes mit HD vorwaschen, etwas abtropfen lassen, einschäumen, 3 Minuten wirken lassen, ein Umlauf mit der Waschbürste und Abfahrt. Den Rest macht bei mir der Wind. Gutes Produkt!!

All gtechniq products work amazing! Just tried this and I love how it breaks down dirt and grime 👌 and the foaming was great!

Best car wash that I have found. My truck is coated with gtechniq coating and this soap works very well. Love the smell too.
