The author has stated that this is done to make the books more affordable to art students. Also, there are a few poses that appear more than once (not many, but a few), so the 101 images advertised is misleading. There are some very good poses here that, I think, make the book worth purchasing. However, the book's dimensions are far too small (6 x 9) compared to Mr. Malone's other publications (8 1/2 x 11). This book would be perfectly fine for improving draftsmanship and proportion, but for use in making complete works of art, it all depends on the artist.
