Some medical authors claim that magnesium malate can be helpful for cardiac arrhythmias, diabetes, migraine headaches, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, and certain types of pain. I purchased it to increase my energy levels and decrease my whole body muscle tension/pain. Although not 100% effective (reason for 4 stars), it has dramatically improved my energy level and significantly decreased my whole body muscle tension/pain. I started by taking 4 a day for the first 3 months now I just take 2 most nights. I am sleeping better than I have in a very long time. Not to mention the general feeling that my body is just working better. Pretty certain I'll be on this for a very long time. The pills are hard & a little big but I've had tougher pills to swallow & still take 2 at a time.
