I'm very impressed with this USB Type C to DisplayPort cables from Uni. Like a lot of cable brands, I've not heard of Uni before but there's plenty of unusual brand names out there these days that still make decent quality products and with much lower prices. This cable isn't as cheap as other brands but it has thousands of positive reviews which is always a good sign. The cables are actually quite thick and could be compared to a piece of 5A mains cable or a thick ethernet cable. This means it's less flexible than say, a basic HDMI cable, but for a permanent computer and monitor set up this is unlikely to be a problem. It should also mean than the cable is well shielded inside and less likely to suffer from interference. It also has nylon braiding around it which is a nice touch and means it'll less likely to get tangled up. It fits perfectly into my laptop and G-Sync monitor. One thing to bear in mind is that this cable doesn't have the securing clips that you have to press to release the cable from the Display Port. I actually find these tend to be a nightmare when trying to unplug because they plug into the bottom of my monitor upwards and it's really hard to press the button and remove the cable without feeling like you're ripping the port off the main board! I guess if you are constantly moving your monitor or laptop about then the cable is more likely to come out on its own but I suspect that's unlikely. I'm using 3m version of this cable to connect a 1440p @ 144Hz G-Sync monitor to my Razer laptop and it works perfectly with no loss of picture etc. I can't confirm if they work for 4k @ 60Hz but I've had cables that couldn't do 1440p @ 144Hz without causing the screen to flicker on and off constantly and that doesn't happen with this. Really impressed with these cables. I used this with my surface pro 7 to connect to my 4k monitor as well as with my steam deck and it has worked perfectly. The cable can carry a 4k60hz signal without any problems. The cable has a good quality braiding as well as metal housings for the connector as such it hasn't sustained any serious damage. The aesthetic is very subtle with the grey cable and subtle UNI branding working well with any setup. The included cable tie is very functional and useful making the cable easy to take with you in a bag without getting tangled with other cables. The only slight complaint is that both the type-c and dp connectors were very tight in all my devices making me sometimes worry if I would break the cable when removing it from my monitor but this never happened so I don't see this being a major issue. This cable is made of good quality materials, its hard-wearing and is perfect for anyone needing to connect a Type-C device to a Display Port monitor.

My use case for this cable is probably different from most other buyer. My Chromebook has an HDMI port. My Monitor supports HDMI and DisplayPort. What's the issue? My Acer and my AOC monitor would not play nicely over HDMI. I experienced intermittent connection issues. One day it would work fine, the next the Chromebook couldn't output a signal to the AOC monitor. I first tried to buy a HDMI to Type C adapter. This too worked intermittently. It worked every time on one Type C input, but not the other. I'm pretty sure I don't have hardware issues, so I thought I'd buy this cable. Worked first time and works everytime. It's a relief that I now have a reliable cable. As for the cable: it seems well built. I like braided cables and this one seems that it will be durable.

I purchased this item so I could attach my new 4k monitor to my laptop. Searching around on Amazon I came across this cable from Uni. I liked it as it was braided and the price, although not very expensive, was not the cheapest either. When I received the cable, I was impressed with how well it was packaged and the quality of the item. As expected when I connected the cable between my laptop and monitor, the monitor was recognised and worked straight away with no fuss. The signal quality is good and have no performance issues while using this cable. As I mentioned earlier the cable is braided, which does make it look good (I say this as there is no way to hide it, because I am using a laptop), with the added bonus that it comes with a handy strap to keep the cable tidy neat when not in use. I have used it to bunch all the cables coming out of the laptop together, which has made it all very neat. I have only had the product for a month now so all I can say is, it is well made, works well and at the moment, I would recommend this product.

This USB-C to Display-Port Cable works great for connecting my MBA to a Dell Monitor. It replaced a USB-C to HDMI cable used for the same purpose. It works as intended and seems to be a quality product. I would buy from this company again. The USB-C to Display-Port Cable allows me to use the Dell Monitor as the primary display and the MBA's display as an extended display and I could not do this with my old USB-C to HDMI cable. Also the Monitor seems to wake up and respond quicker using the USB-C to Display-Port Cable. Full disclosure: once I installed the new cable, I did not go back and do any A to B comparison tests to actually quantify the perceived response time improvements. 8/12/23 Update: A few days ago, my monitor failed to wake after my system slept overnight. I rebooted my Mac, turned my Dell monitor on and off, unplugged the USB-C to DP cable and plugged it back in, tried the cable on a different computer but the monitor would not wake up. I (incorrectly) assumed the cable had failed and contacted the manufacture who responded overnight. But before they responded and after I sent them the note to them, I realized I had not ruled out the monitor as the problem. I researched a Dell forum for similar issues and found a comment and solution for a different Dell monitor model. Lesson Learned: Rule out all possible root causes before deciding one component has failed. The UNI USB-C to DP cable is working great. I still recommend it.

Tout est parfait dès le départ avec une boîte d'emballage à la juste dimension où les caractéristiques techniques sont bien indiquées. La qualité du câble semble du même acabit. Je recommande vivement entre PC avec Thunderbolt 4 et écran Display Port.
