The Occult Book: A Chronological Journey from Alchemy to Wicca (Union Square & Co. Chronologies)

First of all, the book is gorgeous (hardcover), and frankly quite a bargain. So points for aesthetics, but also for content. I knew much, but also learned quite a bit in these pages, written by an esteemed occult author. Basically an encyclopedia of the occult, and while not totally inclusive, it's good and mpressive nonetheless. Recommended, as it will help beginners especially, but seasoned occultists will learn a bit too. Plus did I mention it's so beautiful?!

I have this book in audiobook and wanted to physically have a copy and I would recommend this copy to anyone. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and high quality clear images. The book itself has engraving all over it. It’s just an extremely beautiful book definitely would want in any collection.

Given the span of time they covered, it makes sense that they only devoted 1 page to each topic. They could have used 2 pages, but I really enjoyed getting to see the pictures of various historical books, pictures etc to complement the stories told on the other page. The binding is awesome, it's a nice, hard cover book. I really enjoyed the info in it. I'm excited to get his book on Conspiracies next!

Gorgeous book and of great quality and texture!!!! You want to start from the beginning of your occult knowledge, I would definitely recommend reading it!!!!! And it’s gorgeous and the gold and blue is stunning together!!!!

Highly recommend anything from this author. I own his encyclopedia of secret societies and he is one of the most intellectually stimulating authors I've come across. He's a very interesting individual with a list of accolades. This book did not disappoint. It's introductory level but gives a great information to help you in the right coercion to seeking out further information. I own many books on the topic and I did intact learn new info from this book that was not in any of my others. Recommend.

My first introduction to Occult! An interesting and insightful read.

Nice book. Content a bit basic but I understand it has to appeal to a wider audience which is why its written the way it is. Overall a very good book, good quality and the chronological nature of how it is written will appeal to many people. A good first introduction into the mysteries

Really amazing quality book! It is a bit different than I thought it would be, as I believed it would be even more informative and in depth history, but it is great that it summarises it all in such a short way.
