Perfect color, very low lint
This is my absolute favorite thread and color. It pieces and quilts beautifully. The lint is very minimal, I only begin to notice it toward the end of my projects. This color blends perfectly into light fabrics and shows up just enough on dark fabrics. The cone is well worth the price.

Top quality thread for quilters
Aurifil thread is excellent for quilt piecing. I also use it for free motion quilting and have had wonderful results because it's a 3 ply thread. It's a "low lint" thread that's reliable and the quality is consistent. The large cone (used with a thread stand) is economical. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful thread for piecing
I only use Aurifil 50 weight for piecing my quilts. My sewing machine loves working with this thread. I rarely if ever have thread breakage or any other issues with the thread, it just works perfectly. I received my order exceptionally quickly which was a godsend since I had used up the last of the thread and didn't realize it. I won't say my sewing machine is "fussy" but it prefers Aurifil to other threads and having a giant cone works great as I go through a lot of thread.

Exactly as shown
The price seemed a bit excessive $30+ but there is also over 1 mile of thread that's a lot of thread. Seems to be a nice even thread, no defective areas causing stitching issues. I know squat about thread but it seems to be a well manufactured material. My wife is the seamstress and is very pleased with the quality.

Can I give this 10 stars
Absolute best thread I have used in my Brother sewing machine. Right amount of twist so it doesn't knit up. Very little lint. I started with this thread and didn't know any better. Now that I have tried some other brands I know how exceptionally good this stuff is. A pleasure to sew with!

Aurifil is just the best thread
Most quilters agree that Aurifil is the best thread we can use. Buying it on the cone is a nice money saver because you get so much more thread for less than the single spools. Great seller!

Thank you for another beautifully packed order. I was upset to see a 1 star review. This is the best quality 100% cotton 50wt on the market. I would suggest to the previous to use polyester as obviously heavy handed…just a thought. Thank you again to the Stitchery, Dorset x
