I bought this multimeter and it has worked very well for checking batteries, fuses, and voltage in my car. The screen is clear and easy to read, even in low light conditions. It is also simple to use, even if you do not have much experience with electrical tools. I used it to test my vehicle’s battery and quickly find a charging problem. It feels durable and is definitely worth the price. A great tool to keep at home or in the car for emergencies.

Installation/Use: Installing the batteries required unscrewing the back panel. The 2 AA batteries fit in snugly. Turning the dial powers on the device. The probes plug directly into the unit. Opinion: The unit is compact and very easy to use. I tested several of the different modes, including AC and DC voltages, AC and DC resistances. The AC/DC voltage, and AC/DC resistance measurements all correlate very high with the control. I am really pleased with everything that you get with this purchase. I think that my new ANENG digital multimeter is my new go to tool for testing audio, electronics, and electricity. My-Star Criteria 1-Star. This product is broken or does not work. Items will be returned or discarded. I do NOT recommend it. 2-Stars. This product works but does not get the job done. It is not worth it and I will have to use another item. I would probably not recommend this item. 3-Stars. The product works and gets the job done. I will use it occasionally and would recommend it, but there’s definitely better out there. 4-Stars.The product works well and gets the job done well. For the price it works perfectly. Used to establish charge level of auto battery AND charging voltage of alternator. My previous walmart battery suddenly died after just 6 Mos. Of course suspected alternator but could jump start with Jumpstart battery and cables. Car would run but battery wouldnt accept charge. So replaced battery. Checked with this multimeter and verified voltage and alternator charging. You will require very small Phillips screwdriver to install 2 AAA (included) batteries. Otherwise it's a good product. Many good vids on YT that show various uses of multimeter. No case for meter and instructions limited with meter. But under 10 bucks....works great. Same meter at Walmart is 32.00. Recommend store in ziploc to keep dry.

I was looking for an inexpensive multi-meter, and I certainly got that.. It does what it's supposed to do, and seems accurate for the few things I've tested it on, so far.. I do like that it has a softer plastic "surround" that offers some protection if it gets knocked around, although ~that~ is the case that is mentioned in the title of the description.. I was expecting something a bit different for a case though, tbh... I also like that on the Continuity setting, you get both a beep noise (actually loud enough to hear) AND a red light illuminates.. Very easy to immediately see and hear when you have a good circuit.. As others have mentioned, the molded-in probe mounts are a bit distorted, so it takes a moment of work to seat the probes.. They're adequate, but not great... THE one thing I'm really disappointed in (aside from no case) is......there is NO BACKLIGHT for the LCD screen on this unit... That's pretty standard nowadays, or so I thought, but that is kindof an annoyance when you're using this in a not well-lit situation.... And sooner or later, you will... So just a disappointment in this meter, for that.... Had I realized that before my purchase, I would have bought something else.. That said, it works, and does a good job, so I will certainly use it... Took one star off for the lack of backlight..

For the price it's a good multimeter. Very responsive. I doubt I'll get more than a couple of years out of it but for the limited use I'll give it, it's fine for me.

For the record, I am reviewing the: ANENG Digital Multimeter with Case,DC AC Voltmeter,Ohm Volt Amp Meter,Measures Voltage,Current,Resistance,Continuity,Diodes,Electric Tools for Househould Outlet,Automotive Battery Test After reading the reviews I was expecting the lead wires to be really weak and low quality, and they turn out to be just that but they are holding up really well and the connectors are also pretty good. I have used this multimeter about 20 times already and I love it. It is very easy to understand, is very accurate and it works great. For the price I am really happy with it. My last one the lead wires broke, the connector got damaged easily and it was just a piece of crap, this one I think will last me a while. I am happy and can recommend it.

Works great but battery flap opens by itself and batteries fall of just added a little tape and it stays

Un peu long a la réaction mais mesures fiables. J’ai pu mettre en phase mes appareils électriques, mesurer les courants de fuite et tester la continuité de mes cables.

Le multimètre fonctionne correctement. Cependant les cordons avec pointes de touches sont impossibles à ranger dans les logements situés à l'arrière du boîtier. Pourtant la photo Amazon le rangement le montrait......
