The manufacturers rating ,6/10,is not shared on the website ,but is on the front of the packaging The padlock is thus not heavy duty merely average .Also not fit for purpose as it does not fit any of the hasp and staples I keep . 0/10 as it cannot be used as intended.

I have two of these securing gates and so far they have given three years of reliable service. The lock is heavy and seems to be well built, other reviewers comment upon damage resulting from dropping the lock but as I have not dropped them I cannot comment. The locks are very sensitive to having the numbers exactly aligned before they will open which normally means a bit of a fiddle on my knees as my application only allows for limited movement of the lock but I am sure that this could be overcome with a little effort by marking combination alignment points on the front of the lock if required. As always when buying a lock, consider what it is attached to as that is often the weakest point and would-be crim's can easily deal with the soft metal of the mount bypassing the excellent security of the lock.

When you pull the black knob the pin does not pop out like it should I bought two of these one works fine the other dose not. Good build quality . The code rings only move in one direction I found this a bit odd

Heavy, well made and relatively simple to set up (ie, change combination) down side is the combination is set at the bottom of the lock, so if like me your using a heavy fixed clasp on the dootrs you can not pull teh lock up to see the numbers and you will have to use the ones visible from the front - no big deal but you lose the line to aline the numbers too that way.

This product is excellent, strong and reliable. We now have two of these combination locks to secure our equipment within our shipping containers kept on site as we are an Archery Club. I would also recommend this product for use on garden sheds etc as it's a small price to pay to keep your belongings secure. I would have no hesitation to purchase another should it be necessary.

A very strong lock, very difficult to break or "crack"....but I am on my third because they do corrode internally and fail after 3 to 4 years...I keep getting them because they are good and I doubt if others are any more corrosion proof
