Berserk Deluxe Volume 14

This deluxe volume contains the final chapters that the great Kentaro Miura personally worked on before his tragic passing and not going to lie its still sad just to read through and seeing that message to all fans legit made me want to cry Berserk is not only a masterpiece in the world of Fantasy but in great story telling as well. It sucks that we won't see Miura's ending but his best friend took the mantle as well as studio gaga to continue Miura's legacy and for that as a fan Im extremely grateful for and I will continue to support this series and what they have in store for us fans whether we have to wait a few years for the next deluxe volume they have my support and we as fans will continue struggling Rest easy Kentaro Miura know that both fantasy and anime fans still love your series and will continue to do so and now to reread Berserk once more from the very beginning.

This is the best version of BERSERK manga to own. The hardcover bound is gorgeous and is complete. This is the canon version of the manga. There is nothing to complain. Just praises.

Great series

Berserk Vol. 14 hits hard emotionally. The story takes a darker, more tragic turn, and some moments really stayed with me long after I finished reading. The characters are facing tough choices, and you can feel the weight of every decision they make. The artwork is as stunning as ever — detailed, expressive, and full of emotion. You can really see the sorrow and struggle in the faces and scenes, which makes the story even more impactful. The physical volume is high quality, with crisp pages and a solid cover. If you’re a Berserk fan, this volume is a must-read. It’s heavy, emotional, and beautifully told, leaving a lasting impression.

Great last volume I look forward to the next one wherever it’s announced

I've been reading Berserk in Panini Mexico's tankobon, and then I got the idea that I wanted the official guidebook, too. Only I couldn't find it anywhere. Eventually they reprinted it, but in the meantime I thought "why not having the guide on a decently-sized edition?" So I decided to buy Dark Horse's Deluxe Edition Volume 14. I'm so glad I did. Some of the text is so small (like on a character's first appearance) that it must look microscopic on a 5.1 x 7.25 book. Plus, I was able to read Berserk volumes 40 and 41, the last stretch of Miura's run, in larger-than-life format. Now about the writing in that guide... It's fine most of the time, but sometimes gets too tongue-in-cheek for some of the most serious aspects of the book. Seems like it's trying to parody something, maybe teen magazines from way back then? Not everything fits that style, and when the writer talks about characters being killed (and worse), they come across as kinda sociopathic. But all in all, I'm happy with my purchase, even if it left my wallet hurting and in no hurry to complete the collection in deluxe format.

The book was a gift and arrived on time. Great purchase.

You could say this is the perfect ending of Berserk. It does close one chapter at least. Thank you Kentaro Miura, there will be no other mangaka like you. Thank you for giving us such a rich world and such beautiful art.
