42mm Filter Cap - Water Filtration Accessory - Fast Flow - Perfect for Hiking, Endurance Sports, Camping, Travel, and Emergency Preparedness

Works exactly like the Katadyne befree, fits all hydrapak bags. Used it in the PCT and loved it.

Brilliant filter, recommend buying with the seeker for best result

I've not had to use it but it fits the top of bottles. I feel that they are expensive for what they are.

Took this to Bhutan to try and be eco conscious and not buy bottled water. Got the squits day two and spent two days in bed. Apparently you need to boil the water. Not sure if that reflects badly on the filter, or me. Anyway. Sceptical about its usability now after purging every ounce of water through various orifices.

This filter has made the hydrapak 2L flexible bottle even more versatile on our multi day hikes.

I’ve used the HydraPak 42mm Filter Cap on multiple trail runs and backpacking trips, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear. The fast flow rate makes it super convenient...you don’t have to wait long to fill up or squeeze hard to get clean water. On long runs, I’ve been able to scoop water from streams and keep moving without slowing down too much. The design is simple and lightweight, and it pairs perfectly with my HydraPak soft flasks and reservoirs. I really appreciate how compact it is, easy to stash in a pocket or side pouch without adding bulk. Even after repeated use, it still works smoothly and hasn’t clogged up. Overall, this filter is reliable, quick, and perfect for anyone who wants a hassle-free hydration solution on the move. It’s a must-have for trail runners, hikers, and backpackers looking for a lightweight water filter that just works.
