If you study by yourself the only thing you should know BEFORE starting this books is how to read arabic (and you don't have to read fluently, just make sure to know how to recognize the letters and blend the sounds together because the book don't have phonetic pronunciation of the words). **the only thing is the books I received don't have boy and girl on the cover, I think it is a newer version of the books because I got covers with circles on it) But my friend has the boy and girl on the cover and I didn't notice any difference yet.
